At Care Done Differently, we believe support should feel exactly that, supportive.

We offer a range of services including community access, in-home supports, and Auslan supports but what really sets us apart is how we deliver them.

We’ve spent time in this sector. We’ve seen how things shouldn’t be done, rushed care, lack of communication, and cookie-cutter approaches that don’t truly serve the individual. That didn’t sit right with us, and it’s the reason Care Done Differently exists today.

There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to people.

Every person we support has their own goals, preferences, and way of living. We take the time to understand that. Whether it’s getting out into the community, creating a safe and comfortable home environment, or providing accessible communication through Auslan, we tailor our supports to you.

Because care shouldn’t just tick boxes, it should build confidence, independence, and genuine connection.

We’re Hiring Female Support Workers – Casual Roles Available

Care done differently is growing, and we’re looking for support workers to join our team on a casual basis.

We provide person-centred support to NDIS participants across the Illawarra, Southern Highlands and South Coast, and we’re passionate about doing care differently, with heart, respect and consistency.

About the role:
▪️Supporting participants in their homes and community
▪️Building genuine, trusting relationships
▪️Assisting with daily living, social access and goal-based supports
▪️Flexible casual shifts across our service areas

About you:
▪️Female support worker (due to participant requirements)
▪️Kind, reliable and values-driven
▪️Experience preferred but not essential, we value the right attitude
▪️NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
▪️Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

🎄 Christmas Toy Drive – Let’s Bring Joy Where It’s Needed Most 🎁

We have done a lot of events in the past few years, but this one hit's home, being a parents ourselves, you never want your kids to go without, especially at Christmas, so why should any kid?
Some children will spend Christmas in a hospital bed this year, but together, we can make the season a little brighter, because no child should ever go without on Christmas 🎅

Care Done Differently along with Aligned Community Care, Tender Loving Care Disability Services, Ability Connect, Connect Community and Respite Services, ORS Group, Blue Wing Care & Advance Disability Services & Respite (ADSR) are aiming to collect 1,000 new, unwrapped toys to deliver on 22nd December to:
Bankstown, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Wollongong, Nepean, St George, Randwick & Fairfield Hospitals.

We are calling on our community, partners and supporters to get behind this incredible cause.

Care Done Differently is growing, and we’re looking for passionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team in the Sanctuary Point area.

About the Role
• 15–20 hours per week, with the potential to grow.
• Shifts will vary between 4–8 hours, with flexibility across weekdays and weekends.
• Work may include in-home supports, community access, and daily living assistance.
• You’ll be matched with participants to ensure the right fit, supporting them to achieve their goals and independence.

What We’re Looking For
✅️Mature age females
✅ Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), Mental Health, or a related field – or willingness to enrol in and complete a course
✅ Experience supporting people with schizophrenia and other complex mental health needs (preferred)
✅ NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
✅ Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
✅ WWCC (Working With Children Check)
✅ Drivers licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
✅ Strong communication skills, reliability, and a caring attitude
