My client came in to see me for the first time a few weeks ago. She was exhausted, felt dizzy when she woke up in the mornings, anxious and flat.
We talked about her health, her lifestyle and then had a look at her diet. She thought she was eating too much during the day, but it turned out she wasn't actually enough!
I gave her a plan of action to follow until I next saw her, including guidance on portion sizes, meal timing and what to include with her meals, with some recipe suggestions to get her on track.
She excitedly came in to see me this morning, and couldn't wait to share how good she was feeling - she had more energy than she could remember, no longer felt dizzy when she woke in the morning and was much less anxious. She was amazed she got these results from simple dietary adjustments!
Sometimes it's really easy to get caught up in the noise of advice on the internet and media, online groups, the latest supplements, shakes, the list goes on, all promising energy and amazing results, when sometimes, a lot of the time, it just takes someone to sit down with you, look at how and when you eat - simple, sustainable advice, to get you feeling better again.
