Today Cram did something new - we took part in Run Shellharbour as an organisation - staff, Participants and families - all up around 50 of us pounded the pavement in the 1km race. Thank you to Courtney and the team at Kao Creative for running a truly inclusive local event. The smiles on everyone’s faces when they crossed the finish line will stay with us for a very long time! What a day! 👩🏻‍🦽‍➡️🏃🏻‍♀️🩵

Congratulations to Cram Senior Team Leader, Courtney on being a finalist in the Outstanding Employee category at the 2025 Illawarra Business Awards last night. Your compassion, professionalism and impact across our business is well known and we couldn’t be prouder. 🩵

We were also a finalist in the Outstanding Community Organisation category with some wonderful Illawarra businesses. We had a great night!

Our sincere and heartfelt thanks to the Stanwell Park Sea Eels for their 2025 donation to Cram’s Participants. It’s not lost on us that this club has watched a large majority of Cram’s Participants grow up over the years - that’s how long they have been supporting us. This year their donation will go towards helping us fund our Participant and Family Christmas party, which is always a good time! A huge thank you to the Sea Eels crew once again, we are so grateful for your support. 💙

💛 R U OK? Day 2025 💛
The weather prevented us from our usual picnic in the park but in true Cram style we came together virtually and within our homes to hear Senior Service Manager Archer Moyo talk about the importance of this day. He talked about how Cram’s staff ‘Take 5’ at the beginning of every shift to discuss anything on their mind and encouraged all of us to talk to each other, and the wonderful Participants we support to make mental health and honest conversations part of any day of the week.

Today we celebrate the wonderful q***r young people in our lives as we mark Wear It Purple Day! 🌈💜

Created 15 years ago to remind LGBTQIA+ youth that “It gets better,” this day is a powerful affirmation that your s*x, s*xuality, and gender identity are integral to the amazing person you are. Wear It Purple is about visibility, support, and pride — showing young people that they are seen, valued, and loved just as they are.

In celebration of International Dog Day yesterday, please enjoy a few of Cram’s canines. Cheeky, funny, loyal and chaotic - we don’t deserve dogs and the love and companionship they bring people of all abilities 🩵🐾

Pleased to support this initiative - such an accessible space for people with disability, in our very own local community! Thanks to Shellharbour City Council for their inclusive practices, Greenacres Disability Services for the delicious onsite cafe and Carol Berry MP for supporting the disability sector.

Such a pleasure to attend the launch of Shellharbour Airport’s marketing campaign this morning!

I commend the focus on the accessibility features of the airport, which makes it easier for everyone to travel.

Well done to Shellharbour City Council for a great event!

It was great to see representatives some wonderful local disability service providers Greenacres Disability Services and The Cram Foundation in attendance - big shout out to Greenacres who run the cafe at the Airport, creating highly valued job opportunities for people with disability 👏🏻👏🏻
