Our story

The Good News Counselling Service is a not-for-profit organisation committed to providing high quality low cost counselling with no lengthy wait times across North Regional Victoria. We are based in Shepparton, with counsellors available across Northern Victoria, including Kyabram, Cobram and Yarrawonga.

We have counsellors specialising in children and adolescent counselling as well as Anger Management and court order programs. Our counsellors are all fully qualified and registered with professional counselling organisations. We have counsellors specializing in Marriage and Family Relationships, Family Violence, Spirituality, Grief and Loss, Anxiety and Depression, Child and Adolescent difficulties, Abuse, Coping with a Disability, Addictive Behaviour, Anger Management and conflict.

All counsellors have regular police checks and hold a ā€œWorking with Childrenā€™s Cardā€ from the Department of Justice.
