We are so excited and humbled to have been nominated for a Business Award!!!

Those that know Claire will know that she shies away from any kind of spotlight!!
But we all know how deserving she is of this recognition, and what a beautiful clinic community and environment she has created over the years.

Claire's patients will often proudly tell us that they've been coming to her for 25 years.

The osteo clinic is also home to a wonderful group of Osteo's, which is a testament to the culture Claire creates at Shepparton Osteo Clinic, and also her level of passion and care for patients and professionals alike, as she personally mentors the younger osteos, and any interns we host as part of our affiliation with

We all love working at Shepp Osteo, and are beyond proud to have received this recognition.

Shepparton Osteo Clinic would also like to thank for sponsoring our category 'Excellence in customer service; professional services'

Meet Nezar!!! Our first intern for 2025.

Nezar is from Melbourne, however he grew up in Shepparton!

Nezar describes himself as curious, driven and thoughtful.

His favourite thing about studying Osteopathy is seeing the real impact hands on treatment has on someone's quality of life; it is incredibly rewarding.

On weekends you'll find him stretching more than socialising, but doing both with intention.

The celebrity he would most love to treat is Lewis Hamilton; because peak performance deserves peak recovery.

Nezar will be with us in clinic until Friday 8th August.
Limited appointments available at a discounted rate of $60. Private health cover/Medicare rebates are not available. Appointments available to over 16 yrs only. New patients welcome.

🌸 Preparing for Birth with Osteopathy 🌸
Gentle support for your body, mind, and baby 💫

As your body changes throughout pregnancy, osteopathy can offer powerful support to help you feel balanced, calm, and ready for birth. Here’s how it can help with birth preparation:

🤰 Pelvic Alignment – Ensures optimal positioning of your baby and may contribute to a smoother labor.
🫁 Improved Breathing & Posture – Creates more space for baby and reduces strain on your diaphragm and spine.
💆 Tension Relief – Eases muscular tightness in the hips, back, and ribs to support comfort and flexibility.
🌿 Nervous System Regulation – Encourages relaxation, better sleep, and reduced stress and anxiety.
🌀 Supports Natural Hormonal Flow – Helping your body get into a state of readiness for spontaneous labor.

Whether you're approaching your due date or planning ahead, osteopathy is a gentle, non-invasive way to support your pregnancy journey 💕

Neck discomfort is common, particularly after long hours of sitting, or extended periods of device use and poor posture. Neck pain can also cause headaches and tension in the shoulders.

There are steps you can take to support your neck health:
Add gentle movement breaks throughout your day
Try to maintain good posture, and speak to your osteopath about an ergonomic work setup.
Stay hydrated to support muscle and tissue health
Stretch regularly to help maintain flexibility and relieve tight muscles.

If neck discomfort persists, see an osteopath for treatment and advice suited to your individual needs.

Stretching is pains best friend.

Tight calves?:

With winter sports in full swing, cold frosty mornings and high heels required at work its no wonder calf tightness is a common complaint at our clinic!

A really simple at home management stratergy uses a heat pack and a towel.

Start by heating both calves with your legs outstretched in front of you.
Now as the heat bag starts to cool complete 10 ankle circles one way - then 10 the other way.
Take your towel and place it around your foot using the two ends to pull your foot towards you (dorsiflex the foot) - Hold this for 30 seconds
Repeat it on the other foot

Now lay down on your back and take your leg into a long stretch using that towel to pull your foot into dorsiflexion and again hold for 30 seconds.
You may feel a deep pulling sensation through your calf and hamstring - thats because here we are also stretching to sciatic nerve.
Repeat on the other leg for 30 seconds.

There all done!
