Intimate Hatha & Yin style yoga sessions with up to 8 people. Yoga came to play an important life in Lonne's life around the age of 18, when she started practicing regularly and exploring the different branches of yoga: mainly yin, hatha and vinyasa. What started as a physical practice to alleviate pain, discomfort and tensions in the body, slowly also became a way to be able to live on this planet: dealing with stress, emotions, trauma...

By the age of 24, it became clear that yoga was the path for her. The inspiration to pass the methods and tradition on to others was great and lead her to a 200hr teacher training in the Hatha-vinyasa style at Rainbowlight Yoga in the south of France. The same year, in 2021, she finished a 50hr Yin yoga anatomy teacher training by Jose De Groot from EkhartYoga. Besides the trainings she has done, she also brings a lot from her current study in Traditional Chinese Medicine, personal (mindfulness) meditation practice, massage and other trainings and retreats she has attended into the classes. The result is a mix of traditional, buddhist, daoist, scientific and other methods to enhance mental and physical health. Her classes aim to get you into a meditative body-connected space. There is no pressure on getting the exact right shape of the poses, as she uses a more functional approach: it's all about the feeling and effect in your unique body.

A 25 minute guided Yoga Nidra is a good way to give your nervous system a break. I recorded this one myself and it includes Sankalpa (intention), rotation of awareness throughout the body, breath awareness and visualisation.

Before you start it is important that you have a Sankalpa. This is an intention that you place in the beginning and at the end of the session. Make it something that is important to you, and to how you wish to lead your life. It is something that comes from within and it is best to keep you Sankalpa for future practices until it becomes fulfilled.

Try to lie completely still without even the slightest bodily movement to help yourself come into a deep state of relaxation in which you do stay conscious. Don't worry if you fall asleep for a few moments, it happens to everyone as you let go into relaxation. Whenever you become aware of it, without judging yourself continue following the instructions.

Enjoy 🙏

"As we begin to re-experience a visceral reconnection with the needs of our bodies, there is a brand new capacity to warmly love the self. We experience a new quality of authenticity in our caring, which redirects our attention to our health, our diets, our energy, our time management. This enhanced care for the self arises spontaneously and naturally, not as a response to a "should". We are able to experience an immediate and intrinsic pleasure in selfcare."

A quote by Stephen Cope in Yoga and the Quest for the true self, which words the healing power of yoga very well. Love and care for ourselves is what we need.

Feel what you need: some more Yin or Yang in your life?

In yoga, I like to practice Yin (passive, targeting deep, connective tissues) as well as Yang styles (hatha and vinyasa in which we actively use our muscles).

I also offer both types of classes. Start the week with a Hatha-Vinyasa class or have a midweek wind-down on Wednesday with Yin.
