Exciting news!

Growlife Medical Oxley will undergo renovations in the upcoming weeks, creating a more modern and comfortable space for our patients and community.

During this time, GPs will relocate to Growlife Medical Sinnamon Park and Growlife Medical Sherwood.

We will confirm GPs move dates and new locations for Oxley patients via email within the next week, and appointment reminders will include the updated clinic locations.

We’re excited about these positive changes and are committed to a smooth, convenient transition for all patients.

Meet Dr Jessica Phillips-Yelland

Dr Jessica Phillips-Yelland is a GP at Growlife Medical Highgate Hill with a special interest in women’s health.

She holds a DRANZCOG Advanced Diploma and a Diploma of Child Health, and has recently returned to Brisbane after completing her rural general practice training.

With a background in obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr Jessica Phillips-Yelland is passionate about:
• Women’s health
• Fertility and complex contraception
• Menopause management
• Pregnancy and postpartum care
• Sexual health

She also provides:
✔️ Antenatal shared care (Mater Hospital)
✔️ IUD and hormonal device insertions/removals
✔️ Iron infusions
✔️ Skin excisions

With a strong interest in menopause care, we asked Dr Jessica Phillips-Yelland to highlight four ways a GP can support patients through menopause. She noted that GPs can assist with:
1. Symptom management
2. Guidance on hormone replacement therapy
3. Routine health checks
4. Mental health support

Supporting you through your feeding journey: 📌Join us on August 7th for an informative session at our Growlife Parents Group.

In honour of World Breastfeeding Week 2025 (Aug 1-7), Growlife Endorsed Midwife and Lactation Consultant Sam Foster will be visiting our Sherwood and Highgate Hill Parents’ Groups on Thursday, August 7th, to discuss anything feeding-related and answer your questions.

She will join our experienced Baby Nurse, Breastfeeding Counsellor and Parents’ Group Facilitator Kay Whitby.

We understand that some mothers may find this week difficult as they grieve not reaching their breastfeeding goals, so please know all mothers are welcome, no matter how you feed your babies.
