Patient and carer education is a large part of our Paediatric Podiatry methodology at LBF.
Whether your child need podiatric intervention or not, it is really important to understand whether your child is presenting with what are considered normal or abnormal findings for their development. If your child does need intervention, it is also important to understand their diagnosis, prognosis and treatment pathways.

We see so many children in our clinic for toe walking, so let’s talk about it!
For most children, toe walking is completely a completely normal part of their development and exploration. However, for some kids it can be a sign of an underlying issue.
If you are concerned about toe walking, it is worth getting your child assessed to determine if it is a normal developmental behaviour, idiopathic, or habitual.
