Checking your child’s old school shoes or new ones you’ve bought online? Save these tips for checking their school shoes fit!
1. Choose a shoe that fits their level of activity
2. Check the length of their foot against the innersole of the shoe
3. Put on the shoe to check the girth across the widest point of foot
4. Check if there is a little movement in the fabric at the flexion or widest point
5. Are the ankle bones are sitting just above the heel counter?
6. Is there excessive gaping or movement around the rear of the ankle?
7. Get your child walking on carpet to test the comfort and keep your shoes in as new condition
