At Hunter Valley Supports we deliver personalised care and support for NDIS participants of all ages, races, religions, and disabilities from all walks of life. We regularly support clients with varying abilities ranging from physical to mental and psychological difficulties, disorders, and disabilities. Complex Mental Health support is one of our specialities, and as such we have highly experien

ced support workers equipped to deal with people who may have become disadvantaged and marginalised due to their conditions. We have taken the time to explore the available supports that could enhance your life IN OUR LOCAL AREA. What this means for you or your loved one is that less of your funding is eaten up in travel and often people prefer to attend activities and therapies that are in a familiar, safe area. Hunter Valley Supports can help with:

- Overnight Respite

So how are the HVS Support Workers different to other support workers within the industry? Every one of our support workers has been carefully chosen for their ability to communicate with a wide range of personalities from all walks of life with respect, compassion, and integrity. There are no clients that are too complex for us. We won't give up easily and our team will ensure we exhaust every available option to cater to your or your family's support needs. Sadly, some of the people in our community that need support the most don't know how to access the available supports. We are strong advocates for those slipping through the cracks! If you're not on the NDIS, we can help you find out if you're eligible for access and even help you prepare the application. Our Support Services Manager, Janice is available at the Singleton Neighbourhood centre each Wednesday morning. Pop in and see Janice for a coffee and a chat and she can assist with all your NDIS related questions.

What You'll Do:
โœ… Data entry and record keeping for our operations
โœ… Support fleet management and vehicle record keeping
โœ… Support compliance documentation for NDIS requirements
โœ… Assist with basic financial record keeping under supervision
โœ… Help coordinate property maintenance for our SIL homes

Essential:

It has a large bedroom at the front of the property suitable for a Hospital Bed. The property comes with free fast internet (Fibre to the Premises) and is equipped with Ring Cameras and Alexa communications.

YES! We can still deliver STA (Respite) under the new NDIS rules.

Whilst Cruises, Holiday Accommodation and Holiday-like activities are now on the NO list and are no longer funded by the NDIS at HVS we can still provide Respite in our own accommodation. This allows Participants and their Informal Supports to have time apart.

If you live alone please contact us to discuss your options also and how we may help you take a break.
