Complex Mental Health support is one of our specialities, and as such we have highly experienced support workers equipped to deal with people who may have become disadvantaged and marginalised due to their conditions. What this means for you or your loved one is that less of your funding is eaten up in travel and often people prefer to attend activities and therapies that are in a familiar, safe area. So how are the HVS Support Workers different to other support workers within the industry? Every one of our support workers has been carefully chosen for their ability to communicate with a wide range of personalities from all walks of life with respect, compassion, and integrity. There are no clients that are too complex for us. We won't give up easily and our team will ensure we exhaust every available option to cater to your or your family's support needs. Sadly, some of the people in our community that need support the most don't know how to access the available supports. We are strong advocates for those slipping through the cracks! If you're not on the NDIS, we can help you find out if you're eligible for access and even help you prepare the application. Our Support Services Manager, Janice is available at the Singleton Neighbourhood centre each Wednesday morning.
