Today is our last day trading at Burdekin Park Pharmacy
To our valued customers and community — thank you. Over the past month, I’ve been hearing your stories, your memories, and your experiences, and it’s reminded me just how deeply this pharmacy is woven into so many lives. The emotions are real, because the connection has always been real.
Burdekin Park Pharmacy has been serving the community since the 1970s. With that history comes decades of moments — big and small — and we’ve shared them all: happiness, challenges, laughter, tears, and everything in between. We’re truly grateful for every visit, every conversation, and every bit of trust you’ve placed in us.
And yes… in a funny way, we’ll even miss some of the “Burdekin classics” — the bats (not so much the bat smell, though!), and that constant highway traffic out the front. We might even miss the non-sliding doors that made you work for it on the way in!
While we say goodbye to our old place, we’re also stepping into an exciting new chapter.
We will be opening the doors to our permanent home at Shop 1 & 2, 129 John Street, Singleton as TerryWhite Chemmart Singleton.
But one thing will never change: we’ll keep the local pharmacy vibes. We’ll still know you, know your medications, and be here for a chat. We’re not the type to hide behind computers — we love seeing you, talking with you, and looking after you properly.
So let’s do what we’ve always done — just in a new home.
