🎨🌟 Bright Start Kids Club is back these school holidays! 🌟🎨

Looking for something fun, social and engaging for the kids these holidays?

Our Kids Club is open to everyone and is the perfect place to make new friends, get creative and have loads of fun.

✨ This is a fully inclusive event – you do not need to be on the NDIS to attend.

💛 Free of charge, with lunch provided – our way of giving back and sharing what we’re all about.

🗓 Dates: Jan 13th, 15th, 20th & 22nd
⏰ Time: 9am – 3pm
👧🧒 Ages: 6–16 years

✨ Activities include:
🎨 Messy art
🌋 Fun experiments
✈️ Make-your-own paper planes
🎮 Games and group activities

🛠 DIY fun:
Slime • Stress balls • Bracelets • Play dough + more!

As we wrap up the year at Bright Start Supports, we want to take a moment to celebrate our amazing participants.

This year has been full of effort, growth, courage, and so many wins — big and small. Watching you try new things, build confidence, and work towards your goals has been incredibly inspiring. You remind us every day why this work matters.

Thank you for letting us be part of your journey, for showing up, giving things a go, and trusting us to support you along the way. We are so proud of each and every one of you.

As we head into the new year, we’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to keep cheering you on. Wishing you and your families a safe, happy holiday season and a bright year to come ✨

✨ Bright Start - Wednesday Group – Summer & Early 2026 Activity Line-Up ✨

We’ve got a stack of awesome community days planned over January and February, getting out and about, staying active, and enjoying some of the best spots around the Hunter & Newcastle 🌊🌿

What’s coming up:
🏊‍♂️ 7th Jan – Branxton Pool swim, soccer kick-around & pet shop visit
✈️ 14th Jan – Warbirds Museum & Washpool swimming
🌊 21st Jan – Merewether Ocean Baths & coastal walk
🏍 28th Jan – Nabiac Motorcycle Museum & a pub feed
🔥 4th Feb – Blackbutt Reserve & BBQ
🥾 11th Feb – Glenrock bush walk
🏖 18th Feb – Newcastle foreshore walk & swim at Nobbys Beach

These days are all about building confidence, social skills, and having a good time in the community 💙

What a day!

Today we celebrated our Bright Starts Christmas party and it was full of everything we love — oodles of food, lots of laughs, a massive water fight, and even a game of footy

The highlight? A very special visit from the big man himself, Santa 🎅

Smiles all round, memories made, and so much joy shared.

Such a great day celebrating together and ending the year the Bright Starts way ❤️
