So proud of our amazing cooking group! Our very first group support at Bright Start Supports and it’s still a thriving and fun part of our week 💪🏼

Over the weeks, participants have been learning so much more than just cooking delicious meals. They’ve built confidence in the kitchen, learned important cleaning and household skills, and most importantly, created genuine friendships and connections along the way. 🌟💙

We are taking on City2Surf 2026! 🏃🏼‍♀️💪🏼

On the 9th August 2026, some of our team from Bright Start Supports will be running City2Surf to raise funds for Start Bright Futures, a not-for profit organisation dedicated to supporting NDIS participants and creating more opportunities for their future 🌟

This is a fantastic way for us to kickstart our fundraising efforts and continue to grow the impact of Start Bright Futures: Creating Opportunities. Building Futures 🫶🏻

Last week at Bright Start Supports ✨

On Monday our cooking group whipped up some sausages, mashed potato and mushroom gravy! 🌭👩‍🍳 It was also the bosses birthday so we celebrated with Cake!!

On Tuesday our lawn care team got back to work! While it was wet they were still busy cleaning the work cars and maintaining their equipment! The Life Skills group went to the park, lunch and had a crack at sign recognition 👀

Our Wednesday social group went to Tuggerah for some interactive, life like Mario kart! Workshop Wednesday also was happening in town with a rock decorating 🌟

On Thursday our second social group went back to Tuggerah for their turn 🏎️💨 the day was also filled with 1:1 supports.

On Friday our Lawn Care team got back to work on your lawns 💪🏼 Our life skills group made some incredible progress on their wood working project, getting a final sand and stain completed 💙

We are hosting the NRL State of Origin game 1 on the big screen at the space!

We will be setting up the projector, enjoying the game together, and enjoying a relaxing social evening.

✨HARRY POTTER: The Exhibition ✨

We are excited launching monthly weekend social activities and first up we are heading to the Harry Potter Exhibition in Sydney on Saturday 20th June!

Tickets can be pre-purchased online, and we are happy to help participants organise their tickets ahead of time to make entry easier in the day!

Weekly Wrap-Up ✨

On Monday our cooking group made some delicious teriyaki chicken, some of our chefs had them as burgers and others had them in a rice bowl! 🍚 🍔

On Tuesday our lawn care team got back to work! The Life Skills group were busy doing their weekly return & earn recycling, coffee runs and had a go at writing some morning routines 🌟

Our Wednesday social group had a last minute change of plans and went to Xtreme Karts in Warners Bay for some indoor go-karting! Workshop Wednesday also was happening in town with a bridge building challenge 💪🏼🏎️

On Thursday our second social group headed back to Warners Bay for their turn at zooming around the track 💨 we also had some 1:1 supports, everything from park trips, lunch and shopping centres!

On Friday our Lawn Care team got back to work, a maintenance day 🌱 Our life skills group made some incredible progress on their wood working project, getting to stain all their hard work!

On Saturday, some of our team headed to the Singleton Emergency Services Expo and held down the fort with our sensory space. 🖍️🧸
