Ahoy, mateys!

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who supported our Pirate Day fundraiser! With your generosity, we raised $303 for The Kids’ Cancer Project — every dollar making a difference in helping little warriors fight big battles.

Our crew at Singleton Heights Medical Practice had an absolute blast dressing up and bringing the pirate spirit to life for such an important cause.

Ahoy, mateys! Tomorrow Singleton Heights Medical Practice is going PIRATE for a cause!

This Pirate Day, our crew is swapping scrubs for swords and stethoscopes for eye patches—all to raise vital funds for The Kids’ Cancer Project.

Our staff will be dressed to impress (or plunder) as pirates, and we’re inviting all landlubbers and seadogs alike to drop in, say ahoy, and make a donation to support childhood cancer research.

Your gold (or silver!) goes straight toward helping brave little warriors in their fight against cancer.

Come join the fun, snap a photo with our pirate crew, and support a cause that’s truly treasure-worthy!

Let’s raise funds, hope, and a few Jolly Rogers!

Changes at Singleton Heights Medical Practice.

There will be a few changes at the practice in August with the commencement of new doctors and the departure of some.
Dr Richard Marshall will leaving general practice at Singleton Heights Medical Practice after 32 years. He will continue to serve the Singleton Community through the hospital providing Anaesthetic and Emergency services. He will be continuing to have a presence at the practice running a pre-anaesthetic clinic and will stay until late August until the new doctors have all commenced.

Dr Marshall would like to thank all of his patients for being part of his life and allowing him to be part of theirs. It has been a pleasure to be part of the family care that has led to the delivery of multiple generations of babies and caring for those patients that have aged with him. The Singleton community was a plan for 10 years, but it extended as it became obvious that it was a place to have a long career and bring up a family. He hopes to make use of his increased leisure time to develop new hobbies, travel and spend more time with his family.

Dr Abbey Campton is leaving the practice to return to the hospital system to complete her training for rural general practice. She is going to be completing further training in Anaesthetics and Emergency Medicine and we hope she will consider a return to Singleton after that.

Dr Leah Byrne will be joining the practice on 5th August after a break from regular work in Singleton while caring for her young family. She will be providing General Practice and Obstetric care. She will continue her work at the hospital in the emergency department and as part of the Obstetric team. Appointments can be made on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Dr Leandra Griffiths will be joining us to continue her General Practice training. She has significant hospital experience behind her and has completed her obstetric training. She will be available on all days except Thursday.

Dr "Mew" Benidylok has been working in Newcastle over the last few years and will be joining us to commence her General Practice training. She will be available all days apart from Wednesday.

Singleton Heights Medical Practice thanks you for your continued support and we are excited for our new doctors to join us.
