🚫Myth: Support is one-size-fits-all.
✅Truth: Every support plan is unique, built around the individual’s goals, preferences, lifestyle, and disability-related needs.

Good support isn’t about following a template — it’s about understanding what matters to each person, how they like to live and communicate, how they make decisions, and the support they need in relation to their disability and daily life.

When support is personalised, it empowers people to:
✨ Live with choice and control
✨ Build independence at their own pace
✨ Feel respected, valued, and heard

At Collective Care Supports we take the time to get to know each person — what matters to them, what their goals look like, and how they want support to feel. 🤝

October is ADHD Awareness Month! 🌟

This year’s theme — “The Many Faces of ADHD” — reminds us that ADHD doesn’t look the same in everyone. It can present in a range of unique characteristics — and sometimes as strengths like creativity, spontaneity, resilience, and unique problem-solving.

At Collective Care Supports, we’re proud to help raise awareness and understanding of ADHD in our community. 💙

🔍 Want to learn more, dispel myths, or find local resources? Visit ADHD Australia: www.adhdaustralia.org.au

Together let’s uplift voices, challenge stereotypes, and acknowledge all the faces of ADHD. 🙌

It’s QLD Mental Health Week! ✨🧠

This year’s theme, “Connect for Mental Health,” reminds us that taking care of our wellbeing starts with connection—whether that’s with ourselves, others, our community, or nature. 🤗🌿🫶

Our team has shared some of the ways we look after our own mental health, and we hope it inspires you to find what helps you feel balanced and supported too.

If you or someone you know needs extra support, help is always available. Swipe to the end for services and emergency contact details.
