Open since 1999, the chiropractors at Cactus Chiropractic Lifestyle Centre have been caring for infants, the elderly, pregnant mothers and every member of your family. We wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves. We are Cactus Chiropractic Lifestyle Centre, a family-focused clinic based in Springwood.

We offer chiropractic care, remedial massage and oncology massage supporting people of all ages, stages, and abilities.

Our chiropractor, Dr. Brian Peterson, has been practising in the Logan area for over 20 years. It is a genuine privilege for us to now be caring for the children of clients he first treated when they were kids themselves. Dr. Brian uses a range of techniques that can be tailored to each individual, including:

• Activator Method® for children, very frail clients or anyone who prefers a gentle approach
• Diversified technique
• Thompson technique
• Webster technique for pregnancy care

He is the chiropractor for many of our local high level athletes including the Logan Thunder Basketball NBL1 and Logan Thunder Representative players for which we are a sponser. *If you are a currently registered player playing for a Logan Thunder Rep squad please let us know when you book.

Our highly experienced remedial massage therapists, Maddie and Zoe, regularly work with complex and long-standing conditions and are able to treat everyone from our frailest clients to our professional athletes. They also provide pregnancy massage, and Zoe is specially qualified in oncology massage, offering safe and appropriate care for clients undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment.

For convenience, we have HICAPS onsite, are a preferred provider for Bupa and Medibank Private, and accept DVA and GP Managed Care plans.

We’re pleased to share that Zoe, one of our remedial massage therapists at Cactus Chiropractic Lifestyle Centre, has completed additional training and is now qualified to provide Remedial Oncology Massage.

Oncology massage is a specialised form of remedial massage that is adapted to suit people who are undergoing cancer treatment, have a history of cancer, or are living with the long-term effects of treatment. Sessions are carefully modified to respect each person’s medical history, current health status, and comfort on the day.

Zoe takes a gentle, considered approach, with a strong focus on safety, communication, and individual needs. If you are unsure whether oncology massage is appropriate for you at this point in your treatment or recovery, we strongly encourage you to check with your GP or oncology team before booking.

A little bit about Zoe:
Zoe has been part of the Allied Health industry since 2018, beginning her career as a Remedial Massage Therapist. Over the past seven years, she has gained more than 6,000 hours of clinical experience, working with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. In addition to her strong foundation in remedial massage, Zoe is also trained in Aromatherapy Massage, Touch for Health Kinesiology, Reiki Healing and Oncology Massage. This diverse skill set allows her to take a holistic approach to client care, tailoring each session to the individual’s needs.
