Peter’s not injured… he’s just not waiting until he is.

Training hard. Working full days.
Staying on top of recovery so things don’t break down.

This is what maintenance actually looks like:
not reacting, staying ahead.

Soft tissue work, cupping, dry needling, IASTM, and adjustments to keep everything moving right.

Train hard.
Recover smarter.
Move better with MSK Therapy.

After committing to her lymphatic drainage sessions at MSK Therapy, Serena started to notice real, tangible changes:

✔️ Visibily reduced loating & facial puffiness
✔️ Pain & discomfort significantly eased
✔️ Restored energy & vitality
✔️ Completely renewed confidence

This didn't happen overnight. It took consistency, trust in the process, and a team that genuinely cared about her well-being. But the results? Absolutely worth it.

Lymphatic drainage works by activating your body's natural detox pathways, reducing fluid retention, calming inflammation, and helping every system in your body function as it was designed to.

⚠️ Most athletes are warming up WRONG before sports.

And one of the biggest mistakes?

Long static stretching right before playing.

For years we were told this helps prevent injury… but research now shows it can actually:

❌ Reduce power
❌ Decrease strength
❌ Slow reaction time
❌ Do very little to prevent injuries

And that’s just one of the common mistakes.

Here are 5 we see all the time:

1️⃣ Holding long static stretches before sports
2️⃣ Stretching cold muscles
3️⃣ Using the same warm-up for every sport
4️⃣ Stretching muscles just because they feel “tight”
5️⃣ Skipping nervous system preparation

A better warm-up should gradually prepare your:

✔ Muscles
✔ Joints
✔ Nervous system
✔ Speed and power

Think movement first, not sitting and stretching.

Quick example of a simple structure:

• 3–5 min light movement (jog, skip, jump)
• Dynamic mobility
• Sport-specific drills
• Gradual increase to near game speed

This type of warm-up helps your body perform better and reduce injury risk.

📌 Save this so you remember before your next game or training session.

If this sound is satisfying… your back might need this too. 🔊

That “crack” during a spinal adjustment isn’t bones grinding or being forced back into place.

It’s simply gas releasing from the joint as pressure changes, similar to cracking your knuckles.

The real benefit isn’t the sound though.
It’s the improved movement and reduced stiffness people often feel right after.

When joints aren’t moving well, surrounding muscles can become tight, overworked, and uncomfortable.
Restoring proper motion can help your body move more freely again.

Feeling constantly tight or stiff? 🤔

Sometimes muscle tightness isn’t just about stretching. It can be caused by trigger points and restricted muscle tissue that need more targeted treatment.

Cupping therapy and dry needling can help release these deeper areas of tension by improving blood flow, reducing muscle tightness, and helping your body move more freely. 💪

These treatments are commonly used for:
✔️ Neck and shoulder tension
✔️ Back tightness
✔️ Sports recovery
✔️ Ongoing muscle stiffness

If you’ve been dealing with persistent tightness, our team at MSK Therapy can help assess the cause and guide the right treatment for you.

Persistent tightness?
Cupping and dry needling target it properly.

Not all muscle tension is the same and not all treatment should be either.

Cupping works by creating suction to increase circulation and reduce stiffness in the surrounding tissue. It’s often helpful for general tightness, recovery, and improving mobility.

Dry needling is more precise. It targets specific trigger points within overactive muscles to help reset tension and restore proper function.

Both aim to:
• Reduce muscle tension
• Improve movement
• Support recovery

The key is choosing the right approach for your condition, not just repeating what hasn’t worked.

You can book your appointment at MSK Therapy whenever you’re ready to address it properly.
