At the end of last year, Reds Global was invited to take part in 'Construction Week' at a local daycare, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable visits yet. The children arrived dressed as who they dreamed of becoming: Police Officers, Plumbers, Electricians, Artists, Doctors, Engineers and, of course, Construction Workers.

We shared a short presentation showcasing some of the cranes we’ve installed over the years, complete with videos of our riggers in action (the kids loved it so much we watched it three times!). We talked about what cranes do, how big they are, and even how you climb them.

Our team helped our smallest “crew” try on harnesses and helmets and explore some of our gear. The kids were full of questions, excitement, and laughter, and the buzz didn’t end when we left. Their educators told us they kept talking about our visit for weeks.

It was a great reminder of why we love what we do, and a chance to inspire the next generation to join our industry.

Rest easy, Matty Lavers.

Yesterday, the crane community came together on the Gold Coast—hooks up, three long horns, and a minute’s silence—to honour a true legend.

While Matty never wore a Reds Global shirt, many of our people worked alongside him over the years and called him a friend. His skill, generosity, and spirit left a mark on everyone he met.

Our deepest condolences to Matty’s family, friends and colleagues.

On 22nd-24th March, Jason Redman will, once again, be embarking on an epic journey, cycling 500km in a loop ride in southern NSW (Wagga – Tumbarumba – Lake Hume – Wagga) to raise funds for country kids in need.

He is setting a personal fundraising goal to support the incredible work of Boys To The Bush and BackTrack Youth Works — two organisations that are making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable youth.


These organisations are transforming the futures of at-risk boys in regional communities, and with your help, we can amplify their impact even more. We’re proud to announce the successful installation of the second CTT472-20 tower crane at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Redevelopment site. This marks another major step forward in delivering one of Sydney’s most significant health infrastructure projects.

Engineered for precision and safety, this second crane will play a vital role in supporting complex and high-impact lifts throughout the hospital’s structural build.
