I hope everyone had an enjoyable and safe Christmas ✨. I received this lovely Christmas card from a client (shared with his permission), and it is such a joy to hear from clients that I haven't seen in awhile, but with what I taught them, have continued to reach their goals and do so in a healthy and maintainable way. It will never stop being a joy positively impacting people's lives in this way.

“It’s a lifestyle” 😄

You may have heard that phrase before but haven’t really reflected on what that means. In regards to weight loss, I often hear of people that have tried countless fad diets, even lost weight with them, only to put it all back on and then some. To lose weight & MAINTAIN it, there is no quick fix, no restrictive fad diet that will give you long lasting results... you have to change your lifestyle and eating habits.

It brings me great joy to hear my clients say that they have finally made changes they feel are sustainable for them and are happy to do so as they feel better overall eating a healthy balanced way (that still allows them to indulge in their favourite foods in a healthy way). Maybe you’ve tried so many restrictive diets that you now have a poor relationship with food or feel overwhelmed & like giving up on your desire to have a healthy lean body. It is not hopeless, you can do it, it will take effort still but I will be here to guide you through all of the confusing & conflicting info out there and to help you start making progress towards your goals ✨

Sick of fad diets? The 6* Week Kickstart Challenge is for you! How much weight will you lose? That depends. Healthy weight loss equates to an average of 1kg of FAT loss per week. However, you could lose more than this or less depending on your starting weight and your goals.

Happy Monday! I hope you spent some time outside over the weekend and absorbed some sun rays for vitamin D 😎. Vitamin D is important for calcium absorption, healthy bones & to support the immune system. Vitamin D can be obtained via dietary sources such as fatty fish and eggs. Although, dietary sources do not contain sufficient amounts to meet requirements, so the best natural source is to get it through sunlight ☀️☀️☀️

Did you know, that the amount of nutrients your body needs, changes throughout your life? 🧐

The Australian Health Survey found that 73% of females & 51% of males were not meeting their calcium requirements. Other essential nutrients that were found to be low include; potassium & magnesium. Fibre intake was also found to be less than the body’s requirements in a lot of the population.
