At Amity Care Services, we know that supporting people well means supporting mental health as much as physical health. Building mental health literacy across our staff and community helps reduce stigma, foster understanding, and ensure people feel confident responding when challenges arise.

We’re proud that Linda, one of our Support Coordination team members, is a Licensed Mental Health First Aid Instructor. Thanks to her leadership, we’ve been able to provide in-house Mental Health First Aid training for our staff and extend this knowledge to the wider community.

This is part of our ongoing commitment to creating a resilient, informed, and compassionate workforce — and to strengthening the capacity of the community we serve.

Starting Wednesday 8th October, join us at Seawinds Community Hub in Capel Sound from 2–3pm for a safe, welcoming space to connect, share, and support your recovery journey. 💬✨

This group is open to everyone – not just NDIS participants – and will be run by one of our caring Amity Care Services Recovery Coaches.
