These holidays, if you need urgent care but it’s not a life-threatening emergency, you will likely be seen faster at an Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) or the Victorian Virtual Emergency Department.
UCCs provide free care for people with conditions that require urgent attention, but not an emergency response, such as mild infections and burns, suspected fractures or broken bones.

🌞With temperatures soaring today and tomorrow, Border Urgent Care Centre would like to remind you that heat stroke is a medical emergency! Do not delay treatment. If you suspect that you or someone else has heat stroke, call 000 or present to the closest Emergency Department.

Signs of heat stroke:
❗️red, hot or dry skin
❗️a sudden rise in body temperature
❗️no sweating or reduced sweating
❗️intense thirst
❗️seizures
❗️loss of consciousness
