It’s easy to move through life, or practice telling ourselves partial truths, “I’m fine,” “This doesn’t bother me,” “I’m not tired,” even when the body and breath whisper otherwise.

This week we gently explore what it means to stop hiding from ourselves and come home to what’s real.

Over the coming weeks, we’re trialing an earlier start time of 8:30am Tuesday’s for our “Slow Flow” class.

A gentle, mindful practice that moves with intention and breath. This class offers space to slow down, soften and connect deeply with your body. Each class ending in fifteen minutes of savasana

Come see how it feels to move a little earlier in the day

Leo invites us to return to what makes us feel alive.
To create boldly. To love louder. To take up space, not from ego, but from soul.

This is your invitation to set intentions that are lit from within. Not to prove, but to express. Not to perform, but to embody.

What would it feel like to show up unapologetically as you?

Let this new moon remind you, You are worthy of being seen. Your light is needed and your joy is sacred

A student came up to me after class tonight asking if I had any advice for calming the monkey mind, especially after coming straight from a full day of work.

Let me just say, I still have days where my mind travels everywhere but the mat. You’re not alone.

One of the simplest, most powerful things that’s helped me is focused breath awareness. Letting the breath be the anchor, even if the mind keeps floating away. Rather than resisting the mental noise or fidgety energy, I’ve learned to sit with it, to be curious, not combative.

Some days that looks like breathing deeper. Other days, it’s just noticing that I’m distracted and gently coming back again and again. Like training a puppy with love, not frustration.

And sometimes, the biggest shift happens when you least expect it

All my love, Ness x

The left nostril is associated with the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for the body’s “rest and digest” functions.

In yogic and Ayurvedic traditions, this is linked to Ida Nadi, the energy channel that runs along the left side of the spine and governs calming, cooling, introspective energy, much like the parasympathetic system does in Western physiology.

Breathing primarily through the left nostril activates the parasympathetic nervous system encouraging a state of relaxation, slowing heart rate, lowering blood pressure. It supports digestion and restorative processes, leading to reduced anxiety and mental overactivity

It’s not just about tight hips or trembling thighs.
It’s the ache in the heart when something deep is rising. The breath that shortens before surrender.
The stories the mind spins when stillness sets in.

Discomfort isn’t just a sensation, it’s a threshold.
It teaches me to pause longer, move slower, listen deeper. To teach not from certainty, but from honesty.

I don’t seek to make things comfortable. I aim to make them real, because it’s in those raw, uncertain moments that transformation quietly begins.

Let’s stay a little longer, together. Not to push through, but to see what’s on the other side of leaving

This week we explore what arises when we meet the edge, whether it’s physical, mental, or emotional.

As B.K.S. Iyengar said, ‘The pose begins when you want to leave it.’

That moment of challenge is not a sign to escape, but an invitation to presence.

What asana brings up discomfort for you?
