HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
From all at Three Tree Lodge to all of you - we wish you a Happy Mother's Day. To those celebrating with mum or remembering our mothers who are sadly no longer with us, we wish you a day of joy and happy memories.

This week, our residents enjoyed a Mother's Day High Tea ahead of the big day - a lovely festive event for all our residents with loads of sweet treats from the Three Tree Lodge kitchen 🧁🍰 yum!

To those working today - especially our hard working staff - we hope you have the chance to celebrate with your families and thank you for the care and support you provide to our residents today and every day.

HAPPY EASTER FROM THREE TREE LODGE

POSITION VACANT - ASSISTANT CATERING OFFICER
Three Tree Lodge is looking for an Assistant Catering Officer to join our expanding catering team in a part time role.

Working Monday - Wednesday each week you'll play a key role in a busy kitchen. This role would be perfect for someone who has experience and qualifications in commercial cookery and a passion for delivering excellence in service for older people in our community.

This is a great opportunity to work in a progressive, highly regarded community based aged care service where residents are cared for in a home-like environment.

AGED CARE EMPLOYEE DAY 2025
This Aged Care Employee Day, Thursday 7 August, we say a heartfelt thanks to the incredible people who work with dedication, compassion and resilience to support older Australians in our community.

At Three Tree Lodge our dedicated staff are the backbone of our organisation, enriching lives every day with kindness, respect and professionalism. Thank you for the compassion, support, and dignity you bring into the lives of our residents and their families.

Thank you for all that you do – not just today, but every day.

Today our residents shared the love with our staff with coffee, cookies and specially packaged resident-designed "Aged Care Survival Kits" with lollies, chocolates, mints and a paper clip 'for always keeping things together' and an elastic band 'for when you're stretched to your limits'!

A VISIT TO THREE TREE LODGE TO SHARE OUR JOY
Yesterday we were delighted to welcome the Member for Bathurst Paul Toole MP on a visit to Three Tree Lodge. Paul was visiting for two joyous reasons - to celebrate the 100th Birthday of one of our residents, Elsie May, and to view our plans for the new extensions to Melaleuca House and Wattle House.

On hand to greet Mr Toole was the Chairman of the Board of Directors Garry Brown, Directors Peter Robson and Tim Le Fevre, Clinical Manager Elisa Southall and Strategy & Communications Consultant, Janelle McIntosh.

Elsie was asked her secret to living a long and happy life - but she wasn't giving anything away - she said that was her secret and that of other centenarians!

It was a most enjoyable morning with family, staff and board members and we are grateful for the support for both our residents and our organisation.

THANK YOU 🙏
As we come to the end of National Volunteer Week 2025, we want to send out a special message of thanks to all of the volunteers who support our work at Three Tree Lodge.

We thank the many family members of residents who've donated their time to support our activities, outings and services at Three Tree Lodge and our staff, who often go beyond their day to day work, donating their time to provide further support to our residents and their families.

Lastly, we want to thank our Board of Directors, led by our long-standing Chairman Garry Brown, Vice Chair Neville Castle and Secretary Tim Le Fevre. They are all volunteers of many years standing who donate their time, experience and expertise to support and extend our services to older people in our area.

SPECIAL EVENTS AT THREE TREE LODGE = FABULOUS FOOD + COMPANY
It wouldn't be an official opening at Three Tree Lodge if we didn't have a fabulous spread of food prepared by our great team. Our Catering Coordinator Richard created a special cake for the occasion complete with construction equipment (and a snake!).

As our Chairman Garry Brown said "Today’s ceremonial sod turning gave us the opportunity to share the excitement of the commencement of this build and to thank the many people, including our local Member Andrew Gee MP, the Mayor Cass Coleman, the General Manager and staff at Lithgow City Council along with our own consultants and staff, led by our CEO Kate Hurrell, who have made this project possible.”

Thanks to all the Three Tree Lodge staff who worked hard to prepare for this event and to support our residents who attended. 🙏
