We rarely miss work appointments. We show up, we make time, we prioritise it because we know it matters in our everyday lives.

But when it comes to our health, it’s often the first thing to be pushed aside. Not because it’s not important…but because it’s easy to think we’ll “get to it later.”

While I was taking time to reset over the weekend, I was also thinking of you… and how I can continue to support your wellbeing in a meaningful way.

I’ve just released two new YouTube practices, created especially for those living with chronic health conditions:

🌿 Yoga for POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)

These are gentle, evidence-informed practices designed to support your nervous system, improve body awareness, and help you feel safer and more supported in your body.

Living with chronic illness can be incredibly complex — and I’m deeply passionate about creating accessible, supportive spaces where movement, breath, and mindfulness can become part of your toolkit.

Because as you know, my work is about more than yoga…

It’s about reducing the impact of the social determinants of health and supporting you to feel better, from the inside out 💛

✨ Weekend Wellness Reset ✨

This weekend was a beautiful reminder that wellbeing isn’t about doing more… it’s about choosing what truly nourishes you.

Over the past few days, I leaned into simple, supportive wellness practices:
🧘‍♀️ Yoga to move and reconnect with my body
🧘 Meditation to slow down and create space in my mind
💛 Meaningful time catching up with friends
🥗 Nourishing my body with wholesome, whole foods
🧺 Creating calm at home by cleaning out my wardrobe
💻 Spending time working on my business with intention and purpose

None of it was rushed. None of it was perfect.
But all of it supported my energy, my clarity, and my sense of balance.

Wellness doesn’t have to be complicated.
It can be found in the small, everyday choices that help you feel a little more like yourself again.

✨ Top Tips for an Easier Easter Weekend ✨

Easter can be beautiful… and also a little overwhelming.
More people, more commitments, more food, more expectations.

So here are some gentle reminders to help you move through your weekend with a little more ease, and a lot more calm 🤍

🌿 1. Start your day slowly
Before the busyness begins, take 5–10 minutes just for you.
A few deep breaths, a stretch, or simply sitting with your tea can set the tone for your whole day.

🌿 2. Lower the pressure
Everything doesn’t have to be perfect.
The food, the house, the plans… let “good enough” be enough.

🌿 3. Check in with your energy
Notice when you’re feeling drained or overwhelmed.
Give yourself permission to pause, step outside, or take a few quiet moments.

🌿 4. Move your body gently
A short walk, some soft yoga, or even a few stretches can help release tension and reset your nervous system.

🌿 5. Be mindful with food
Enjoy the chocolate and the meals — without guilt.
Slow down, savour, and listen to your body.

🌿 6. Protect your peace
It’s okay to say no, to leave early, or to take space when you need it.

✨ And just like that… you recognise your growth.

Over the weekend I went to a yin yoga class (thank you David Hardy and West End Yoga), and as I rolled out my mat and lay down, I had a quiet little “pinch me” moment.

There was a time when I would arrive at yoga and immediately retreat into child’s pose - arms by my sides, tucked in, waiting. It was my safe place. A place where I could exhale, soften, and feel held. I craved that comfort, that sense of security. Even something like lying back in reclined butterfly felt too exposed… too vulnerable.

But this time… it was different.

A new space, unfamiliar surroundings - and yet I walked in feeling whole. Supported not only by the warmth of the facilitator, but by the countless hours of practice… and the deep inner work that has gently unfolded over time.

And something else happened too… I found my breath.
That soft, steady whisper of ujjayi… I could hear it. Truly hear it. After all these years.

It reminded me that growth doesn’t always arrive in big, loud moments. Sometimes it’s quiet. Subtle. Almost easy to miss.

But it’s there.

A shift. A softening. A sense of coming home to yourself.

So let this be your gentle reminder 🤍
The journey can feel long… but change is possible.

Be patient.
Be kind to yourself.
And keep showing up.
