Happy Anniversary, 10 years ago I landed in Freo. What a fantastic journey. Time creates so many opportunities and memories. Who would have thought I would have my own Reiki and Hypnotherapy practice and Pottery Studio in the coolest place...every day I am grateful and have to pinch myself. I'm glazing and selling my wares today. Life is grand, just takes a few risks, alot of hard work, many prayers and a magnificent manifestation. We can achieve anything when we faith in ourselves.

Our first-degree workshop is perfect for beginners wanting to explore the natural, intuitive and positive healing qualities of Reiki. This course has been approved by the Ashati Institute and Energy Healing Therapies Australia.

Included in this course is a special crystal and chakra healing workshop that compliments reiki healing on many levels. You will learn how to select crystals for healing using a pendulum and how to use them on the chakras for healing, combined with your Reiki one training.

The main training space is in the studio and then students will work in twos (a maximum of 4 students) in the reiki practice room on two reiki tables.

You will receive your Reiki 1 certificate and full training, Reiki 1 attunement, a manual and training material for reference. A set of personally chosen chakra healing crystals, crystal healing training and a personal guidance session and a reiki healing from your reiki master.

$7.5 MILLION FOR ST PAT’S FREMANTLE TO BOOST SOCIAL HOUSING

It was great to be in Fremantle today with local member Simone McGurk MLA to announce the Cook Government is providing $7.5 million to one of Western Australia’s longest-serving homelessness support services, St Patrick’s Fremantle, to bolster the State’s social housing stock.

The $7.5 million commitment is part of a $12 million St Pat’s project to demolish the site’s existing, ageing and no longer fit-for-purpose accommodation units and replace these with 28 newly built social housing dwellings.

The 28 new social housing dwellings will provide long-term accommodation for people who are experiencing homelessness, with wrap around support provided by St Pat’s to help sustain the tenancies.

St Pat’s is a not-for-profit organisation that has been providing community housing and specialist support services for people facing homelessness in the south metropolitan region of Perth for more than 50 years.

As part of the Cook Government’s Call for Submissions for Social Housing, a procurement reform I introduced, St Pat’s approached the Department of Communities seeking to turn their existing accommodation into social housing.

Partnerships between CHPs and the State Government can leverage collective resources and expertise - to ultimately provide more housing to those who need it the most.

Our Government is investing a record $2.6 billion in social housing and homelessness measures in WA, including delivering around 4,000 social dwellings, and refurbishments and maintenance work to many thousands more.

Since our record $2.6 billion investment in social housing and homelessness measures, our Government has added more than 1,800 social homes with a further 1,000 social homes under contract or construction.
