My name is Taylar McPherson and I am excited to officially announce that I am a 2026 Grafton Jacaranda Festival Candidate proudly sponsored by The Good Intent Hotel Grafton. ✨

I am a proud Gamilaroi pharmacist, born and raised off country in Grafton, who has returned home to service my community with a passion for rural and Aboriginal health. When I am not at my amazing job at Masen’s Pharmacy (next door to The Good Intent Hotel) you might find me at Jetts or the Bent Bridge Running Community, however, I am hoping to become a much more familiar and approachable face over the course of this year. 💛

My other passions include hiking, games, anime and manga, although, I have always had a deep passion for the Jacaranda Festival with Jacaranda Thursday without a doubt being my favourite day of the year. Needless to say I am absolutely ecstatic to get further involved this year with my community, to meet new people, learn new skills and overall grow as an individual. I can’t wait to share my journey with you all ! 💜
