Talent for Days!

Today we bid farewell to our week-long Resident Art & Craft Exhibition, which opened on Wednesday 13th August and concluded this afternoon.

A heartfelt thank you to our fabulous Residents who shared their talents. The feedback was outstanding, with many saying the exhibition not only showcased creativity but also brought our community even closer together. Residents enjoyed learning more about their neighbours through their works.

Special thanks also go to our Village Admin, Lisa, whose hard work and dedication made this event such a success. We can’t wait to see what wonderful event awaits us in 2026!

Congratulations to our very talented Resident, Victoria!

Victoria is featured in today's Mercury Newspaper due to her artwork titled "The Road Less Travelled' being selected as the Packing Room Prize in the Hadley Art Prize exhibition which is running from August 29 to September 21 at the Hadley's Orient Hotel.

Victoria also has a selection of artwork on display at our Resident Art & Craft exhibition, which closes today at 3:30pm.

Vaucluse Gardens Resident Art & Craft Exhibition, Wednesday 13th to Wednesday 20th August 2025!

On Wednesday 13th August we were pleased to open our week long Resident Art & Craft exhibition, hosted in the ground floor common area of our Apartment Building.

The show is open until 3:30pm this coming Wednesday 20th, so we encourage you all to take the time to visit the exhibition and marvel in the beautiful designs and paintings on display.

Happy Aged Care Employee Day!

On behalf of the staff at Vaucluse Gardens I wish to thank all of our Residents who attended this morning's tea in celebration of the national aged care employee day 'thanks for caring.'

Today was our opportunity to receive thanks from Baldwin Living, and our Residents for the care, kindness and hard-work our Staff provide on a daily basis to make Vaucluse Gardens the wonderful Village it is.

The Staff 'thank you' cards were received in abundance, and these will be distributed amongst our Staff in the coming days. The overall consensus is our staff are kind, always willing to help, patient, cheerful and always smiling. We couldn't ask for a better review 👍😀💜

Aged Care Employee Day - Thanks for Caring

Today (Thursday 7th of August) we celebrate those who have dedicated their working life to caring for others.

To mark the occasion, a Staff and Resident Morning Tea is being hosted at 10:30am in the Village Lounge, presented by the Village Manager with support from the Residents Committee.

This will be a lovely opportunity for Residents to personally acknowledge and thank staff members in attendance. (Please note that due to rostering, some staff may be unable to attend daytime events.)
