Tyrone recently enjoyed a walk through the beautiful Waterworks Reserve with his support worker, taking in the fresh air, peaceful surroundings and everything Tassie nature has to offer.

Moments like these are a great way to slow down, connect with the environment and support overall wellbeing, all while getting out into the community.

Tyrone has been putting in the work behind the wheel 🚗✨

From practising night driving to parking, he’s been developing important skills and taking big steps toward greater resilience.

Learning to drive can be a huge milestone, it can create more freedom, confidence, and opportunities in everyday life. We’re so proud to see Tyrone showing determination, focus, and a willingness to keep learning along the way.

Developmental disabilities are a group of conditions that affect how a person learns, communicates, interacts with others, or manages everyday life. They begin during childhood and are part of how a person develops over time.

Every person’s experience is different. Some people may need support in certain areas of life, while others may need more ongoing assistance. There is no single way a developmental disability looks or presents.

What matters most is the person, their strengths, interests, goals, and the life they want to build. Developmental disabilities are just one part of who someone is, not a definition of their worth or potential.

With the right support, people can build skills, grow confidence, and live meaningful, connected lives. Support should always be person-centred, respectful, and shaped around individual needs.

At Tessellate Support Services, we believe in walking alongside people and their families with care, dignity, and understanding. Everyone deserves the opportunity to be included, supported, and heard.

🌊✨ Following Passion. Building Confidence. ✨🌊

Liam recently visited the historic battery at Tinderbox — a special experience for someone who dreams of one day joining the Army.

As a former cadet, Liam has a strong interest in military history and Australia’s first line of defence. Exploring the site brought that passion to life. Even more meaningful was being accompanied by our support worker Dave, an Army veteran, who was able to share his own knowledge and nurture Liam’s curiosity.

At Tessellate Support Services, we tailor our support to each participant’s interests, goals and aspirations. Because when we focus on what truly matters to the individual, confidence and growth naturally follow.

🎣☀️ Fishing Legend in Action! ☀️🎣

Tobias recently headed out for a fishing adventure with his support worker — and what a day it was!With the sun shining and the fish biting, Tobias reeled in catch after catch and had the absolute best time on the water. More than just fishing, it was a day of confidence-building, skill development and doing something he truly loves.

At Tessellate Support Services, we tailor every experience to our participants’ interests, because when people get to pursue what excites them, growth happens naturally.

🥟✨ Cooking Up Confidence! ✨🥟

Liam, one of our Tessellate Support Services participants, recently spent time in the kitchen making dumplings with his support worker, and they looked delicious!

Moments like these are about so much more than food. They’re about building independence, learning new skills and growing confidence in a fun, supportive way.

At Tessellate, we love working alongside our participants to explore what they want to learn and achieve, whether that’s cooking, getting out in the community or trying something new.

The Life Changer Cocktail Evening wasn’t just about what happened on stage, it was about what happened in the room.
