Seeking members for the First Nations Advisory Group

Council is calling for Expressions of Interest and nominations to join the new First Nations Advisory Group.

The group will provide advice to guide Council’s strategies, plans, policies and projects on matters that impact First Nations communities across the Kempsey Shire.

This may include:
□ Promoting visibility, equality and inclusion
□ Supporting reconciliation efforts
□ Addressing matters of concern to local First Nations people
□ Advocating to other levels of government
□ Exploring opportunities for partnerships and community-led projects
