Macleay Options Ltd Macleay Options provides support services to people with a disability who live in the Macleay Valley, on the Mid North Coast of NSW Australia.

Our philosophy of care encompasses dignity, respect and the rights of the individual in the support they receive Our guiding principles

Macleay Options operates within the provisions of the Commonwealth and NSW Disability Service Acts and their associated Disability Service Standards, as well as stringent Quality Assurance processes. The basis of all our policies is to have maximum consultation with and input from all stakeholders, in particular our service employees and clients and their families and guardians. We are committed to:

We’d love to invite our community and the general public to our Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser to help rebuild and re-equip our supported employment laundry after the fire.

The gates will be open to everyone, and we’ll also be running a raffle to help raise funds (prizes to be confirmed).

A huge thank you to Valley Industries for their incredibly generous donation of laundry linen.

After the recent fire that destroyed our laundry facility, their support meant we could continue fulfilling orders and servicing our clients without interruption. As an organisation like ours, providing supported employment and based in Taree, their willingness to step in and help speaks volumes about the strength and generosity within our sector. We are truly grateful to the entire Valley Industries team 💙

They shared stories and memories of their time here in the commercial laundry but also spoke of Threads and Mowhawks and Momacs that were originally operated out of this building.

This is to help replace equipment for the Supported Employees that was lost in the fire. Whilst Insurance covers much, there are so many little things!

Like the ragging machines that Bronwyn used for years, which insurance funds won't stretch to cover. The Threads sewing machines that supported employees such as Nerida regularly used for her one-on-one support and making the linen cage covers, along with their personal lockers, just to name a few.

We appreciate all donations small or big! 💙

A massive thank you to our community and staff, our participants and families! We are certainly feeling the love and support. 💙❤️

Key Updates for you all:

We are looking to transfer many of the commercial laundry tasks and staff to the Smith Street Laundry Kempsey Laundry Service, who will be ready to handle the increased capacity within the coming days.

Some of our amazing laundry team members have now joined our Mowing department.

This is a moment with Cody we won’t forget! 🌟

After eight months away from the water following the flood damage at the Macksville Hydrotherapy Centre, Cody was finally able to get back into a hydrotherapy pool.

Macleay Options self-funded this centre for our participants, and seeing Cody relaxed, floating comfortably, and smiling was a simple but powerful reminder of why we do what we do.

For Cody, who uses a wheelchair, the water gives him the freedom of movement he doesn’t get on land. It supports his body, his wellbeing, and his overall quality of life in a way that’s hard to put into words.

Moments like this highlight just how important accessible, purpose-built supports are, and the real difference they make in people’s lives every day.
