With today being Samhain, I had a chance to sit down and reflect (with all this energy keeping me tired and flat 😅) about where I'm at in my spiritual journey, and how as a result, many look to me, not just for insight and knowledge, and at 'how spiritually advanced' I am compared to others.
First of all, comparison is the thief of joy. Never compare ANYONES journey (spiritual, emotional or other) to yours. Every one has different circumstances regarding their journey. Many have different lessons at different stages of learning that to compare isn't fair for either party.
With that being said, not only have I had many lifetimes of learning, experiences and knowledge behind me, this lifetime for me has been far from easy, and for the minute, isn't getting easier. I've learn so much already from this lifetime, part of my learning is teaching others what I know and have learnt already.
You may be working through a lesson that someone has learnt, or is about to learn, but you also must remember that each soul learns different lessons every lifetime. I may not struggle with anything you may be learning now, but it doesn't mean that previously in another life I haven't. I don't have access to my memories from other life times either, so even things like grieving, death, addiction, life etc are still "new" to me like they're "new" to you.
You never know, maybe you're one lifetime ahead of me and only have one or two more lessons to learn, and by that standard you're 'more spiritually advanced' than me, even though the most you might do spiritually is meditate and have a crystal or ten. We are all at different points in our journey, we can't look at others as an expectation that our experience will be similar to their's.
