🔎 Ultrasound vs. CT – What's the difference? 🔍

At Impact Radiology we use Ultrasound and CT scans to help doctors get the clearest picture of your health. Here are some of the differences between the two:

🩺Ultrasound

💙 No Radiation – uses sound waves.
💙 Real time imaging – movements can be seen live, great for pregnancy scans.
💙 Common for Pregnancy, Soft tissues, Blood vessels, Organs and Sports Injuries.

🩺CT Scan (Computed Tomography)

🧡 Provides more details than a regular X-ray.
🧡Uses low dose X-ray and advanced computer processing to create detailed 3D images.
🧡Great for Bones, Lungs, Brain, Abdomen and Complex Injuries.

👉 Your referring Doctor will know which one to refer you for that will give them to best results on what they are looking for.
