Autumn is the season to make a herb garden. Could be in pots or straight in the ground.
Calendula, Chamomile , Comfrey, Echinacea, Chives & Mint . Mediterranean herbs planted now will develop stronger roots before winter kicks in.

Answer: Your body only takes what it needs and excretes the rest.

Absolutely nothing wrong !! The difference between herbalists of yesteryear and today is the rules that have been enforced.
The modern approach is

1 herb - main herb for ailment
2 herbs - directional herbs
3 or more herbs
being Supportive.

About 10 yrs ago a blend of herbs became only 4 herbs max, something to do with regulating governing bodies . Not sure why .

WINTER CHAI
Making Chai tea blend for a Winter Weekend is soothing my soul.
Recipe for Chai( I wing it so be kind)
2 cups of black tea
4 sticks cinnamon
12 cloves
8 cardamom pods
10 black pepper ( use less if u don’t like it spicy)
1 tsp ginger
1tsp nutmeg
6star anise

Using a mortar and pestle, I grind everything except tea until it’s chunky and rustic. Then add tea leaves .

The blend can be varied greatly with adding honey or masala.
To do this I like to put the blend on a tray , drizzle either /or honey&masala . Mix and let dry out for half a day .
Add to glass jar.
