It’s been an epic first week at LTLs HQ! The vibe is always on and you know what’s really crazy is that it feels like we’ve been here forever and we figure it’s just because our vibe and community is so strong and connected ❤️

It’s so nice to be together here and we have so much fun ahead what a start, what a team, what a community!

Transformation Tuesday 💪 a picture is worth a thousand words and here are just a taste of some of Jenna’s in screenshots 💪

1 year ago, Jenna signed up and we said goodbye to the random gym workouts and hello to a structured plan.

This is so much more than shedding 11kg, it’s a story of a woman who embraced her strength (literally) and found her self-love and confidence in herself by getting fitter, stronger and healthier in mind, body and soul.

The last video is 115kg, exactly 1 year later from when she started in June 2024 💪 through all the ups and downs she hasn’t quit, she has just soldiered on.

A lot of people want to know “the secret” … there isn’t one, besides consistency, teamwork, commitment and inner self-respect to go out and do what you said you wanted to against all odds that life may through at you.

Mel has lost 12kg and lifted 100kg on her deadlift since starting out us this year 🙏💪

We have 3 girls competing this year in October! We are so eager to see them hit the platform.

We love taking our clients to competitions, it’s never something we push on clients however we definitely can see when a client has the potential to give competing a go!

A lot of women come to us never having competed before or have had some lifting experience that we get to hone in on.

This empty factory is slowing becoming LTLs new home 💖 it’s needed a lot of TLC. Pictured is a TINNIE snapshot at what we’ve been up to IN the studio, electrical works, paint stripping, lots of painting, cleaning the skylight, speaker installation, measuring things up for equipment, mirrors and other plans for our all female studio (hehe)!

The next few weeks we should have a mats down, bathroom upgrades complete, water filter install, fit-out install (fingers crossed), mirrors install, signage installed and a lighting upgrade from Metro Electrical Group ⚡️⚡️

We have spent every weekend in the studio chipping away at many things and behind the scenes the plans are organised and on track.

The best thing your PT will teach you aren’t found in sets and reps, it’s usually in the conversations you have between sets, before the session or maybe right at the end when it feels like you just need someone to hear you out, or perhaps give you some advice.

How many times have you had a conversation with your coach, only for it become a pep talk? Maybe a full blown TED talk on confidence in yourself, showing up for yourself, having faith and trusting the process?

It usually starts with clients just coming to the gym, which is progress in itself and that initiates the start of huge things to come especially when they start to like it….!😍 we see it a lot.

We then find these clients start to open up more and more and get even deeper and they realise they can trust their trainer and have some real honest conversations about where they are at.

A lot of clients want to lose weight but not a lot of clients can see that the way they came to us is not the way we can start.

We hope this lands with our community of women who feel that the conversations have shaped them more than the deficit (the deficit was just the bonus to hit your goal).

When it comes to change, ALL OR NOTHING … isn’t it.

We see it time and time again.

Extreme (and plain weird) dieting protocols, extreme training regimes don’t work in the long run. Sure, you will see a sudden change but that change won’t last, and usually will plateau very quick.

We aren’t in the business of making rapid all or nothing changes to our clients that will bounce back as soon as you look at a piece of cake 👀🎂

You don’t have to fear food….
You don’t have to train 5 to 7 days a week….
You don’t need to always be in a calorie deficit…

You don’t need such a gruelling process.

At LTL we like to check your lifestyle factors first and foremost, food quality, meal times, training age, and overall strength and consistency before we even consider going into a deficit.

Ultimately in the beginning it will take longer but it will be worth it when you aren’t living in a yo-yo mindset for the next 5, 10, or 20 years anymore.

Everybody wants to have a better looking physique, but what if it came down to how well you can squeeze your muscles?

Your goal to lose weight or gain muscle will be made a lot easier if you have better mind to muscle connection. If you can’t “feel a muscle” you probably need to start building that connection when you’re standing or sitting just at home and try activating it. It will take time, but it can happen.

Lifting heavy is great but not without tension or good form - this is where injuries, bad habits and poor posture can develop.

Your body composition will do a lot better with more muscle 💪

I get it navigating this industry yourself is hard. But that’s why I’ve done and continue to invest in my own personal development. In fact I’m part of Wolf Pack, a 12 month all things Personal Training, coaching, nutrition, business, mindset and lifestyle internship with Australia’s leading Personal Training Studio - Enterprise Fitness.

Sacrificing things you love to some-how unlock this happier version of yourself is not the case, putting yourself through pain, guilt or shame is not the way to live. I am invested in your health and well-being - my focus is on 5 elements, food, digestion, sleep, stress and training all of which create a powerful, confident and empowered woman.

I want to inspire, educate and empower all females with an interest in health and fitness.

I like to get the basics right, and have a less is more approach.
