It might sound a bit dramatic, but over time, regularly consuming these quick, grab-and-go options can take a toll.
Theyâre often chosen for convenienceâlike yoghurts boasting â20g of protein,â protein bars, âsugar-freeâ snacks, or pre-made mealsâbecause they seem like the easy, healthy choice when youâre short on time.
But most of these products have one thing in common: long, complex ingredient lists.
Theyâre far removed from their original, whole form and some are engineered for long shelf life, often with added preservatives and additives.
More often than not, you are better off choosing simple, whole food options with minimal ingredients.

Life is busy - we get it!
But⊠it doesnât mean that you canât achieve your goals.

If youâre not losing weight, youâre probably not in a deficit.
Not to shame you - but this could be the missing piece of the puzzle to your weight loss journey. Fat loss requires a deficit and âmostlyâ doesnât count.
Itâs the little things that add up⊠weekend outings, bites here and there, unplanned meals etc. This is enough to pull you out of a deficit.
A deficit isnât forever, but it does require honesty and intention.
If the scale isnât moving, ask yourself:
Am I actually in one?

You donât have to face your food struggles alone, itâs a major part of what we do here at and the best way to overcome them is to talk about them with your coach and, as Dee said - food log it all out so you can VISUALLY SEE it on paper (or your app).
Thereâs no point thinking âIâm goodâ and not getting results, âbeing goodâ is also different to being adherent

Gone are the days of doing endless cardio in hopes you will look âtonedâ.
This aesthetic comes from building muscle and dropping body fat - so itâs not to say you canât do cardio, but if youâre not lifting weights and challenging your muscles, youâre making it harder for yourself.
Muscle is metabolic - the more muscle you have on your body the easier it is to drop body fat. As you drop body fat the âtoneâ and definition you have spent building in the gym will be more visible.
