Micki.yoga Fitness Yoga, Pilates, Hypnotherapy and Personal Training by Micki Romero Micki has over 15 years experience as a practitioner and over 5 years as an instructor.

Micki is a Nationally Qualified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer and can help create a unique yoga/mobility/flexibility approach to your health, fitness and wellness using her skills as a yoga and pilates instructor. She integrates the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspect of wellness, and creates an opportunity to have a satisfying session of complete mind and body fitness. Her focus is awareness of mind, body and surroundings to help facilitate transformation into living a life with peace, joy and overall health. A little about Micki: she started her fitness/yoga journey over 10 years ago whilst seeking relaxation and rest from the busyness of living in a fast paced world of studying and working. From that moment on, fitness became effortless and natural and a way to destress. With more than 14 years practice in traditional martial arts, from Aikido, Okinawan Tae Kwan Do to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Micki reveals her understanding of how to gain a deeper understanding of fitness through dynamic and vibrant sessions.

To improve certain postures one must stretch the muscles and ligaments a little more each time as one does a session of asanas postures. In some postures which one has mastered to the full, the stretching is also done but for the purpose of flexing and then relaxing that part of the body.

To get the full effect of asana, the breathing should be coordinated with the specific asana. This makes for asana and pranayama combined. - Michael
