The Benefits of Osteopathy for the Aging Population

As we age, our bodies undergo natural changes that can lead to decreased mobility, joint pain, and an increased risk of injuries and falls. Osteopathy takes a holistic approach to healthcare, offering gentle hands-on treatments.

Struggle With Headaches?

During treatment your osteopath will work to release tension and strain particularly in your head, neck and upper back. Gentle massage to tight muscles and manipulation to loosen the joints of neck can relieve built up muscular tension that could be the cause of your headache.

So if you haven’t ever tried Osteopathy as a treatment option for your headaches, why not make an appointment today!

Do You Have Armrests On Your Office Chair?

Traditionally, OH&S requirements encourage the use of armrests on the chair as they act to support the elbows and arms. Which if used correctly they do. However, we are inherently lazy and I can tell you most people do not use the armrests to support their arms; they use them to lean on and hold up their entire body weight! Your arms are not load bearing joints, so leaning on your elbow, will result in neck and shoulder complaints.

Navigating neck pain? If your current relief efforts have hit a dead end, it's time to consider Osteopathy—an approach that stands out in the realm of manual therapy. While Chiropractors focus on spinal alignment and physiotherapists emphasize strength, osteopaths adopt a holistic stance. Think of us as the happy medium between Chiropractic and Physiotherapy. Our personalized treatments go beyond symptomatic relief, we investigate the root cause and address your entire body.
