The Ecstasy and related Drugs Reporting System (EDRS) is a national study examining trends in ecstasy and related drug (e.g., speed, crystal m**h, co***ne, ketamine, mushrooms, L*D and GHB) use. This is the 18th year the study has been conducted in Melbourne. The interviews are anonymous and confidential and you don’t have to answer any questions you don’t want to. Interviews take about one hour and cover topics such as drug use history, buying drugs, questions about the benefits and risks of taking ecstasy and some questions about risk behaviours. Participants are reimbursed $40 for their time. If you are interested in participating please contact us and provide answers to the following (so we can work out whether you are eligible):
1. How long have you been living in Melbourne?
2. How often have you been using ecstasy or related psychoactive substances in the last 6 months? Please also let us know which days and times are convenient for us to interview you. We will be conducting interviews in person at our office on Commercial Road (next to the Alfred Hospital).
