ANKLE SPRAINS.

DID YOU KNOW?

After an ankle sprain there are some telling statistics:

At 4 years:
46% still experience pain
34% experience recurrent sprains
55% report instability
25% have clinical signs of anterior impingement

This is why it is important that we assess, treat and manage ankle sprains in the acute phase.

WE ARE ALWAYS LEARNING

Each Wednesday we get together as a team for CPD (Continuing Professional Development). The amazing thing about our role as physiotherapists is that you are always learning new skills, new literature, new ways of doing things. We take this seriously as a team.

We do this to ensure that we as a team are continuing to innovate and provide the best possible treatment to our patients.

This was a CPD that James led, sharing his knowledge on The Foot and Ankle after he attended a 2 day course around the assessment and management of injuries to this area.
