Another “name it to tame it” quick guide. This time focussed on common postpartum experiences that mums can struggle with during their transition into mumming and or adding a little one to the fam.

Hello Lovelies, just a little note about returning to paid work after having Taj ❤️

Also just an honourable mention in all the things that have helped is the fancy do it all formula maker. If you are formula feeding, you know how stressful it can be, especially at 3am to be making up a bottle, this thing makes your bottle in like 15 secs 🙏 haha this totally sounds like an ad! It def isn’t but would I do one absolutely!

Hello everyone!

Just a little note to say I’m gently back at work with some telehealth sessions available. For current clients who would love to book, the online booking password has changed so reach out to me via email for the update!

Sessions will be available on a Wednesday or Thursday, with a sprinkling of Tuesdays in the mix but my open hours will be kept short.

Thank you to everyone for their incredible support and thank you to baby Taj for being a little dreamboat and allowing me to get back into the swing of things 💫

I am delighted to announce the safe arrival of our newest team member: Taj Fox born on the 10th July 2025 ❤️

He was born with a full head of hair and weighed a healthy 4kgs!

It was a very healing and incredible experience and we are all adjusting to the beautiful chaos of a life as a family of four ☺️

Massive thank you to all my lovely clients who have been checking in and sending their best. I wouldn’t be able to navigate motherhood and having this career without such beautiful humans being so supportive and flexible so I owe a lot to you all ❤️

I am also very deeply aware that this post may spark some complex feelings for anyone in the struggle of starting or expanding your own family. Please know I am thinking of you and sending you my love and care.

If you’re feeling isolated in your experience there really are some helpful resources out there from and .org.au or if you have experienced any stage of pregnancy in the last 12 months, you can head to the GP and get a referral for up to three sessions of non-directive peri natal counselling with an eligible support or alternately seek some sessions with a great psychologist or counsellor.

I will be on maternity leave until approx. November this year. The work phone will be off but I will be monitoring the EGP email 🤙

Hello IG! Just a quickie, today is Erin’s last work day before heading off on Maternity leave.

Thank you so much to all of my beautiful clients for being absolute legends throughout this transition and life stage 🙏

If you need to get in touch, please connect via email erin@eg-psychology.com as the work mobile will be on hiatus. Emails will be monitored sporadically so please allow just a little more time for a response.

Leave dates are a guesstimate and all sessions when Erin RTW will be via telehealth until approx 2026.

Just a little note for the gram. Erin will be off on maternity leave from approx. July to November 2025.

In June and upon Erin’s return to work all sessions will be facilitated via Telehealth, with in person sessions returning in 2026.

Massive shout out to all my clients who have been so supportive, accommodating and flexible through both of my pregnancies. It has made the juggle of mothering and work a hell of a lot easier for me and I can not thank you all enough ❤️

I also just wanted to acknowledge that seeing anything pregnancy related while trying to create or extend your own family can bring on a tsunami of complex and competing emotions, so please know I am very mindful of this. If you need any extra support and feel comfortable to reach out please do or please make sure to reach out to your support systems, you don’t have to hold the heaviness by yourselves ❤️

It’s a popular technique in DBT, ACT and CBT and is considered a distress tolerance skill 🌊
