Tell me, are you guilty of the evening fridge raid?

I used to always crave carbs/sugars in the evenings. But after listening to my body more, I realised that it was down to being tired. So, instead of jumping head first into the fridge, I now jump into bed with my book and let my body get the rest it needs.

Late night snacking can negate the benefits of your daytime efforts by disrupting sleep, increasing calorie intake, and impacting weight management.

The body's metabolism slows down at night, making it less efficient at processing calories, and consuming high-calorie snacks are likely to lead to weight gain. It can interfere with sleep, hindering recovery, and potentially impacting daytime energy levels, too!

Being a working mum often feels like you’re constantly juggling work, kids, house, the never-ending to-do list. And somewhere along the way, you get lost in the mix.

This weekend, for the first time in over 4 years, it’s been just us. No brotherly arguments. No constant snack requests. No half-drunk cups of coffee.

Just fresh air. Beautiful views. Time to talk without being interrupted by “Muuuummmm!”

And you know what? It’s reminded me that taking time, not just for myself, but also for us, it’s essential! Because when you recharge your own batteries, you come back with more patience, more energy, and more of you to give.

So here’s your gentle reminder.... You can’t pour from an empty cup.

When Someone At Work Finally Notices...!

This moment hit differently for my lovely client, because it hasn’t just been about the number on the scales (3 stone gone! 🙌) and the inches lost, it is also about feeling seen for her hard work and dedication.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate the smile! Every week her confidence and smile grows that much more 🥰

She’s tackled long work days, weekends away, and the days where motivation was harder to find, but she has kept on going.

And now? She’s walking taller, smiling bigger, and inspiring others without even realising it.

Still on her journey, still focused, still smashing it 🤗

Breakfast this morning is my favourite Cookies and Cream bar with a coffee 😋

I have a busy morning with my lovely slimmers and a gym class booked in between. I don't have time to make anything for breakfast, so a healthy nutritionally balanced chocolate bar is the most perfect alternative.

My yummy 400 calorie chilli 😋

Packed with plenty of protein and veg! However this evening we had a smaller portion with a little rice instead of just the chilli in a bowl. Totalling 580calories.

After getting home from holiday Tuesday afternoon we have been enjoying getting back on track with healthy homemade food. Removing the salts and sugars etc.

Can you believe just 750g of mince, 1 onion, 1 large courgette, 1 and 1/2 peppers, 600g of passata and seasonings can serve 4 children's spaghetti Bolognese... Then once the portions are removed add the kidney beans and spices for 4 portions of chilli for us?! Boom 👌

Im back 👋

It felt so good to take some time and be in the moment more. My boys have had the best holiday, they even cried themselves to sleep last night because they were so sad it was over. Bless them 🥰

But now it is back to reality, with trying to get through the washing etc. Rich has today off so I can spend the morning with my lovely slimmers, then food shop whilst he takes the boys to tennis and snorkeling at the gym pool!

Any suggestions on fun things to do, that won't break the bank, with the kids on rubbish weather days would be most welcome, thank you!

I decided to focus on my family and friends, to enjoy my week off of work and just be us. I am still here for all of my slimmers, as always, but I just need to be free of socials 😘

* SWIPE FOR COMPARISON*

How many times have we found ourselves over hungry and grabbed food for convenience instead of going home to make something healthy? We are all guilty of it I'm sure.

Today I am feeling hungry and tired after a morning of weigh-ins with my amazing slimmers, followed by a spin class..... I need to start going to bed earlier!

So, for comparison, this chicken bacon and lettuce sandwich from Tesco is 416 calories. And I know with this I would definitely want the crisps on the side too. That would take it to around 600 calories and I am usually hungry a hour or 2 later 😬

But, I came back from the gym and made myself this 450 calorie brunch / lunch, with 34g of protein. I am full and completely satisfied. And just look at the portion size.... That's a dinner plate guys!

Obviously I am maintaining my weightloss, but as you know, this is the hardest part. Making the right choices 75% of the time. Salso suitable for the higher steps too 👌

BRIDE TO BE 👰🏼‍♀️

Thursday inspiration..... Meet my amazing slimmer who today reached her 2 stone milestone in time for her wedding day this Saturday 🥰

I am so unbelievably proud of Miss C (soon to be Mrs) and cannot wait to see photos of her in all her glory!

She started back on plan with me in January but struggled with social events and her head just wasn't in the right place. But as the big day started to fast approach she refocused and has absolutely smashed it 🤗 following Steps 3 and 4 and incorporating plenty of exercise too.

It doesn't matter how much weight you have to lose. The is the perfect diet with nutritionally packed meal replacement products and one to one support.

It has to be said that I have struggled since getting home from our event Saturday with other socials and father's day over the weekend. I haven't rested and it's been full on.

Today I am soooo hungry! So I chose to make myself a bigger lunch to curb cravings to snack and it definitely wasn't a waste of calories at all.

All of this for 500 calories and 25g of protein 😋 not I feel full and satisfied too!
