The last few days I’ve been in a total funk.
Mentally. Emotionally. Just… heavy.

And instead of ignoring it, I decided to defunk.
When life feels overwhelming, I come back to the basics:

✔️ Move my body
✔️ Tidy my space
✔️ Do one productive thing at a time

There’s something powerful about cleaning your environment when your mind feels cluttered. It’s not just about the house. It’s about creating space to think clearly again.

Weight loss is like that too.
Sometimes you don’t need a huge overhaul.
You just need a reset. A clear out. A fresh focus.
We live in such a busy, noisy, rollercoaster world. Taking time to pause, catch up and get grounded isn’t weakness. It’s strength.

When life gives you lemons… tidy the kitchen and start again 🍋✨ Now to clear the paperwork pile and go through today's delivery parcels.

What I took to work today for my 10.5 hour shift...

Losing weight is hard, but the real challenges come with maintenance. Planning and being prepared 85% of the time is essential.

I knew I was having a high protein, high fibre dinner for around 450 calories. So I wanted to take breakfast, lunch and snacks with me to keep me fuelled for my long day at work.

Breakfast - Birthday Cake bar 😋
Lunch - Chicken Sandwich on rustic wholemeal bread
Snacks - Pop Squares, a small homemade brownie, 0% fat greek yogurt and berries, satsuma

Dinner - Homemade 2% Turkey Chilli

Today I reached:

1,435 Caloroes
131g Protein
32g Fibre

You can enjoy flavoursome, delicious meals while losing weight. Yes, really! Healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring, and you don’t have to miss out on real food.

Yesterday was weigh day for me, and after jumping back on Plan two weeks ago to shift those four pesky pounds… I’ve done it! Even with my monthly due any day (the water retention is real 😅).

There is a common misconseption that the 1:1 Diet is all shakes.

I am here to tell you that it's not.

This is what I have enjoyed today, whilst following Step 3 of the Plan 👇

* Porridge for breakfast
* Fish, rice and veg for lunch with a yoghurt
* Spaghetti Bolognese for dinner
* Salted caramel chocolate bites to finish 😋

I feel full, satisfied. I’ve got more energy, less sluggish and I am sleeping better.

RESULTS!!

Week 1 weigh day for me today and I'm so pleased with my 3lb loss 🤗 Apart from an off plan meal with friends Friday evening (but making the best choice I could), I have stuck to plan 100%.

3 meal replacement products, a 400 calorie dinner and 3-4 litres of water a day.

The results speak for themselves! Trust the process and follow the steps.

"Mummy can I take a photo of you?"

How do you feel when you hear those words?

The other day I was trying on dresses in preparation for an upcoming event, when my son asked if he could take a photo of me and asked me to pose 🥰

The old me would have said 'absolutely not'. But instead I said "YES!"

Over the years my weight has fluctuated. I have both loved my body and hated it over and over. Am I 100% happy with how I look? No. I don't think we are ever fully content. Social media portrays 'perfection' as something that it's not. Something that doesn't actually exist.

This day, my son saw me as perfect. Every day my boys love me unconditionally. To them they see perfect through eyes, smiles, love, cuddles and unconditional love.

Yesterday was day 3 of my reset and I am feeling the difference already.

Stepping back on Plan before things spiralled has helped me regain focus, reduce that food noise, and enjoy the convenience of the products again.

It’s amazing what a few days of consistency can do. Forever grateful for this plan!
