🔨 August is Resilience Month at Unidex

“Resilience means rising after a setback – knowing we can’t always control what life throws at us, but we can choose how we respond.”
– Kailie Paleologoudias, Marketing Lead

What Resilience Looks Like at UHC:
• Honouring every journey – celebrating big wins and small steps.
• Building wellbeing – when everyone feels safe, valued and heard.
• Fueling confidence – empowering participants, support workers and colleagues to believe in what’s possible.

Your Resilience Challenge:
🚀Spot a Strength: Send a quick note to someone who’s shown resilience this week.
🚀Reflect & Grow: Take five minutes to jot down a challenge you’ve overcome and what it taught you.

How will you bring Resilience to life this August? ⬇️

🌟 Team Spotlight: Sam Noonan 🌟
Rostering & Recruitment Coordinator – NSW

Since joining Unidex Healthcare in 2024, Sam has been the driving force behind our NSW rostering and recruitment – ensuring the right support workers are matched to the right participants every time.

One of Sam’s most memorable moments? Hearing the thrill in a participant’s voice when they learned they’d receive dedicated support. “It reminded me why I do this,” he says.

Outside of work, you’ll find Sam kicking a football, hitting the tennis court, cheering on the AFL, or pounding the pavement on a run. If there’s a beach, festival or concert on, he’s there soaking up the vibes!

Sam’s dedication and precision keep our operations flowing – and help Australians living with injury or disability access the care they need to live with confidence and dignity. We’re so lucky to have you, Sam! 💙

This July, our spotlight is on Safety.

Safety at Unidex goes beyond checklists – it’s about creating environments where everyone feels secure, seen and valued. This July, we invite you to reflect on how dignity and respect shape your work:

“Treating people with dignity affirms their worth. Acting with respect builds trust. These aren’t just best practices – they’re the foundations of person centred care, at the heart of everything we do.”
– Sheradin McDonald, National Clinical Manager

✨ For you, what does dignity look like in action? Maybe it’s pausing to listen, checking in on a colleague, or simply honouring someone’s choice. Share your story below and inspire others to build a culture of care and respect. 🌱

🌿 NAIDOC Week 2025: The Next Generation – Strength, Vision & Legacy 🌿

This NAIDOC Week marks a massive milestone: 50 years of honouring and elevating Indigenous voices, culture, and resilience. The 2025 theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy,” invites us to reflect on the wisdom of Elders and uplift the voices of emerging First Nations leaders who are shaping a future grounded in truth, resilience, and unity.

We spoke with our General Manager, Aaron Claridge, who shares what NAIDOC Week means for us at Unidex: “NAIDOC Week is a powerful reminder of community connection and cultural resilience. It reinforces our commitment at Unidex to foster independence and compassionate support for every individual.”

As we reflect, we celebrate the enduring strength, visionary leadership, and powerful legacy of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Let’s walk forward with purpose, guided by the stories of the past and inspired by the promise of the future. Whether you're attending a local event, sharing a yarn, or simply taking a moment to learn – every act of recognition matters. 🖤💛❤️

🛡️ It’s Safety Month at Unidex!

This July, we’re turning the spotlight on one of our most important values: Safety.

💬 “At Unidex, safety isn’t just about processes or protocols. It’s about creating an environment where everyone – our participants, support workers, and internal teams – feel secure, respected, and genuinely cared for.”
– Aaron Claridge, General Manager

Whether you're supporting participants in their homes or working behind the scenes, safety is something we all contribute to.

Let’s protect what matters. 💙
