To mark International Day of People with Disability, we asked a few members of our team to share one word that captures what this day means to them.

Their reflections - Empowerment, Inclusion, Dignity - speak to the values we strive to bring to our work every day: dignity, choice, safety and genuine connection.

Thank you to our incredible workforce and to the people we support across Australia. Your experiences and perspectives shape the way we continue to grow as a provider.

Today we recognise International Day of People with Disability – a day that highlights the importance of inclusion, accessibility and dignity across our communities.

At Unidex Healthcare, this commitment is reflected in the way we deliver safe, reliable, person-centred complex care. Inclusion isn’t just a principle for us – it’s part of how we show up for participants, families and support workers every day.

Our General Manager, Aaron Claridge, shares this message:

“As a complex care provider, we have a responsibility to do more than ‘meet minimum requirements’. True inclusion means listening carefully to the people we support, respecting their choices, and making sure our systems match their needs – not the other way around.”

Thank you to our participants, workforce and partners for the trust you place in us.

This month, we’re spotlighting one of our core Unidex values: Performance.

Performance is more than completing tasks – it’s about the standard we uphold every day. It’s the consistency, discipline and ownership we bring to every interaction, and the pride we take in delivering high-quality support to the people who rely on us.

When each of us shows up with that commitment, we strengthen our team and lift outcomes for participants across the country.

Continuity of care is one of the most critical – and overlooked – parts of NDIS support.

For complex participants, rotating staff and inconsistent communication aren’t just frustrating… they’re unsafe.

We’ve published a new article breaking down what continuity of care actually means under the NDIS, why consistency matters for high-intensity and complex supports, and how Unidex ensures stable, relationship-based care.

🌟 Emma Webb shortlisted by Australian Community Industry Alliance (ACIA) for Frontline Quality Support Worker Award 🌟

ACIA has officially published this year’s shortlist, and we’re proud to share that Emma Webb has been recognised. Emma enabled a participant at end of life to fulfil a final wish to visit Cairns by co-designing the plan with family and coordinating the clinical and travel supports so the week remained safe, calm and truly person-led. It reflects the kind of care we aim for every day: turning choice into lived experience.

“At Unidex Healthcare, we believe everyone has the right to make informed choices and have control to shape the services they access. This principle is at the heart of everything we do each day.” - Emma Webb

Please join us in congratulating Emma on this well-earned recognition, and thank you to the teams who helped make it possible.
