As OT Australia recognises 80 years since the formation of the first Occupational Therapists Club in Australia, we celebrate the vital role occupational therapists play in enhancing individuals' quality of life. By empowering people to engage in meaningful activities, OTs promote health, independence, and well-being.
We are grateful for our team of 12 inspiring OTs and value the strong relationships we have built with our clients and within our community.

Originally established on the Gold Coast in 2013 as Regan Brown Occupational Therapy, the business has expanded to meet the growing needs for residents of the Gold Coast and surrounding regions.

Recently, Regan Brown Occupational Therapy has evolved to Think Occupational Therapy to reflect and acknowledge our teams’ values and commitment to excellence. Did you know that the Gold Coast City Council offers a service to make sure your bins are in place for collection and returned to your designated spot within your property after collection if you are physically unable to do so yourself? You will require evidence from your GP, nurse, or an OT to complete this request.

Chat with your service provider about obtaining a referral to an Occupational Therapist to discuss.

Did you know that every minute of every day a sick child is admitted to hospital in Australia?

This month, our Director, Regan, is taking part in Super Swim to raise funds for the Starlight Children's Foundation, with a goal of 30km in February.

Starlight has been working in partnership with health professionals for over 30 years to help sick kids be kids, regardless of disability, injury or illness. Find our more here:

OT UQ Class of 1993 Reunion

Our amazing Director Regan has accomplished 30 incredible years working as an Occupational Therapist and celebrated with fellow UQ 1993 graduates in Brisbane recently. With memories of shared experiences and transformative moments, the reunion provided a unique opportunity for colleagues to reconnect, reminisce, and reflect on the impact of their collective efforts. The reunion was a testament to the enduring bonds forged in the pursuit of a common goal — enhancing the well-being and independence of individuals through Occupational Therapy.

Today we acknowledge the International Day of Education. The theme for 2024 is 'learning for lasting peace'. At Regan Brown Occupational Therapy, we have several dedicated education days for our team each year, including CPR and First Aid, Manual Handling, Infection Control, new product demonstrations, workshops with local suppliers and more. Fostering a culture of learning within the workplace is not just beneficial but essential for achieving successful outcomes for our clients.
