Christmas can stir up all kinds of emotions for us, loneliness being a common feeling. Isolation or grieving a loved one can leave us feeling awful at a time when the focus is on family and togetherness. This Christmas there are some things you can do to overcome these feelings:

❤️ Stay connected with friends and family. Give them a call or chat on social media if they are far away.
❤️ Volunteer at a local food kitchen or gift drive for disadvantaged people.
❤️ Attend local community events like carols in the park, or community dinners.
❤️ Make your own plans for Christmas Day like making a special breakfast or buying yourself a gift in advance.
❤️ Don't neglect to keep in touch with your therapist, or get in touch with a new one.
