Active Hand and Upper Limb Therapy is committed to excellent customer service. Our Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists are trained in the specialty of Hand Therapy and splinting. We provide individualised rehabilitation and management plans for a variety of hand and arm injuries and conditions including fractures, sprains, strains, tendon/ nerve/ joint injuries, and following surgical pro

cedures. Modalities include wound management, oedema management, custom made thermoplastic splinting/ orthosis, pain management, soft tissue management, dry needling, electrotherapy, strengthening, and stretching programmes. Active Hand Therapy is happy to treat patients under WorkCover, private health funds/ insurance, DVA and EPC/MBS (Medicare) GP plans.

Big Congrats to Hamish for completing his three year Hand Therapist Accreditation!!

Hamish is our shoulder and upper limb expert often found in our surgeons clinics but he has many strings to his bow. He supervises some lower limb training sessions, has expert wound care knowledge, can cast and splint and now he has his Hand Therapy accreditation. Legend!

We are specialists. All our therapists are members of the Australian Hand Therapy Association, which is a 3-year process to complete a list of specialist activities. We also have internationally recognised therapists and therapists that have studied a Masters of Hand Therapy. Active Hand Therapy is the preferred hand therapists for the Sun’s, Titans, Surfing Australia, Athletics Australia and Tennis Australia.
