We’re thrilled to share that our Emergency Department Collaborative Research Group has been honored with the Velocity Award at the Queensland Health Research Showcase, recognising our commitment to moving research from theory into practice and delivering real-world solutions to improve health outcomes for all Queenslanders.
Professor Julia Crilly OAM accepted the award on behalf of the team, reflecting on how far we’ve come from publishing just three papers in 2005 to conducting nationally competitive, impactful studies across multiple hospitals.
This award is not just a milestone—it’s a celebration of innovation, impact, and ongoing dedication to putting patient care at the heart of everything we do.
Thank you to everyone in our team, our support partners, and to Health Translation Queensland for helping us bring evidence into action and improve wellbeing across our community.
