The mind was never meant
to be in constant motion.

Sometimes the healthiest thing
we can do
is pause.

High-functioning anxiety can be difficult to recognise because things may look “fine” on the outside.

People may appear organised, capable, and productive. They meet deadlines, manage responsibilities, and often carry a lot for the people around them.

But internally, there can be constant pressure. Overthinking, difficulty relaxing, and the feeling of needing to keep everything under control.

Because things are still getting done, the anxiety underneath can easily go unnoticed.

Understanding these patterns can help people recognise when support might be helpful.

After International Women's Day, it’s a good moment to reflect on the many roles women hold.

We often see women balancing careers, caring for others, supporting families, managing households, and holding emotional space for the people around them. Much of this work happens quietly and without recognition.

Over time, constantly giving to others can take a toll on mental wellbeing. Stress, exhaustion, and burnout can slowly build when there isn’t enough space to rest or be supported.

Looking after mental health isn’t selfish. It’s an important part of sustaining the many roles women carry every day.

Tired for “no reason”?
Not everything needs to be solved today.
Some days, rest is the response.

Hope you find a small moment of calm this Friday.

When a child is anxious, it can look like avoidance, control, or big emotions at the end of the day.

It’s easy to focus on the behaviour.
But often, anxiety is a nervous system working overtime.

Instead of asking, “How do I stop this?”
Try, “What might be underneath it?”

That small shift can change how we respond.

Sometimes it can feel like anxiety is taking over your family life.
The school mornings. The constant reassurance. The emotional unload at home after a long day of holding it together.

Anxiety can be exhausting to witness as a parent.
But it’s rarely the “problem” on its own. Often, it’s a sign that your child’s nervous system is working overtime to cope with something underneath.

We don’t need to rush to fix every feeling.
Sometimes, slowing down to understand what’s fueling the anxiety can be the most supportive first step.

You’re not doing this wrong.
And you don’t have to do it alone.

Full conversation with Tina 💪🤍

Tina recently spent time with the team at .official talking about the connection between mental health, your nervous system, and how you train.

They shared the chat in 3 parts on their page. We’re posting the full version here so you can watch it all the way through in one place.

There was a lot of honest conversation around listening to your body, knowing when to push, and knowing when to recover. Sometimes progress isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing what your system can actually sustain.

Big thank you to the Athena team for having her.

Living with ongoing pain is something many people carry quietly. It affects how they move through their day, their energy, and often their sense of being understood.

When supporting someone with pain, it’s easy to feel pressure to offer solutions. But often, what helps most is taking time to listen and acknowledge their experience.

Presence matters. Being heard matters.
And small moments of understanding can go a long way.
