💙Consider releasing any ceilings you may have around what you can be and receive due to underlying (potentially unconscious) beliefs. I recall a conversation with a client where she felt she should not post pictures of herself (or her fabulous life) on social media because she believed ‘people’ would see her as quote, ‘up herself.’ I asked what the phrase meant to her and she said ‘think you’re great, love yourself.’ I’m thinking wouldn’t the world be a better place if loving oneself and honouring all of who we are was the norm and not something to ever feel shame around. Celebrating us from a place of fostering self-worth, being unassuming and even considering the highest good (service is great for the soul) is nourishing self-care. Reach for the stars and be unafraid of showcasing what is possible. You may perhaps be the inspiration for change some of the ‘people’ she was referring to may be seeking.

Author and wellness advocate - Jane Holman - is hosting a small group Women's Self-Care Soul-Care Workshop on Saturday 5th October (1.30pm -5.00pm) at Port Stephens Anchorage Resort.

The workshop will centre around some of the themes covered in Jane’s four books, with a specific focus on the title, Seeds of Self-Care for Love and Serenity. Jane's focus for self-care and soul-care involves learning to respond to life in ways that are conducive to accessing wellness, wisdom, peace, power and potential. It is about learning to soothe the nervous system to optimise healing and contentment and tuning into the space of finding the extraordinary in the seemingly ordinary. Participants will be led towards connecting with the beauty in all things and drawing this into one's essence to enhance wellbeing. Jane’s approach to self-care moves beyond our traditional understanding of this field and is much needed in today's world.

🩵An integral part of our self-care is soul care, that is, anything that helps us to heal, stretch and grow. Entering places where we come up against old limitations and push beyond them supports us to explore more of our potential. I recently moved into new ‘expanding’ territory after receiving an invite to be a guest on the Back to the Present podcast hosted by Mitchell Bastock. I embraced my L-Plate status and at the same time compassionately accepted ‘perfectly imperfect as just perfect’ for opening to something new. Give yourself permission to bravely step into the unknown and do something for the first time without self-judgement or being vested in any particular outcomes. Nothing to lose and only growth to gain. Open to the magic within the infinite unknown.

One of the most important steps in connecting with our soul purposes and missions is a deep belief that all the information, wisdom, gifts, talents and abilities are already within us. Our task is to become clearer, more open channels to fully receive it all. We get clear by leaning into deep self-care that heals and confronts any shadow aspects that may be temporarily blocking our ability to receive, become and express our greatness in service to self and others. More light (information to inspire our knowing) and love (our superpower) along with less fear, opens the door to the inner, mystical world contained within us all. Clear out all the old dusty closets (limiting beliefs about self, life and others) to access the treasure trove. Light combined with love is ignition for great creativity for our missions. It is about learning to find the extraordinary in the seemingly ordinary and connecting with the beauty in all things and drawing this into one's essence to enhance wellbeing. Jane’s approach to self-care moves beyond our traditional understanding of this field and is much needed in today's world.

There will be several opt-in times available for individual reiki sessions with Jane over the course of the stay for those selecting this additional option.
