Join Taum and Matthew for a Fun & Creative Drawing Workshop!
Unleash your inner artist in this interactive workshop that is all about learning to draw simple, eye-catching visuals that can add life to your events and meetings.
What to expect:
➡ Celebrate success: Hear about Taum’s Fishing Day, a finalist for a National HESTA Excellence Award!
➡ Master the basics: Learn how to draw star people, arrows, block words, key phrases, colourful highlights, animals, and (of course) lots of FISH-themed symbols.
➡ Practice & plan: Get help from Taum and Matthew to practice or plan something special. You might even draw ideas for a festive Christmas catch-up with friends!
Workshop Schedule�
Hour 1: Practice drawing simple shapes, pictures, and words.
Hour 2: Work on your own drawings with support.
Who can come?�This workshop is for:

✅ People living with a disability

Meet the team:
Taum is a proud Indigenous woman, originally from Thursday Island, has combined her love of fishing with her commitment to helping other people with intellectual disabilities. She has created a welcoming space for both Taums Fishing Day and also for her local church community. With over four years at Parent to Parent's Stand by Me project, Taum, alongside fellow team members Matt and Tee, has nurtured a space where participants can advocate for themselves and connect with others.
Matthew, is a Brisbane based visual artist and graphic facilitator who works alongside Taum, Tee and fellow Stand by Me colleagues, hosting and supporting peer groups for Parent to Parent Association.
