I am going to be one of the stall holders at this wonderful local event this Sunday. I will have a selection of items from my 'Arrow and Guppy' line of acrylic resin homewares for sale. There are a range of local makers, food vendors and fabulous workshops. Be sure to book in to the workshops if you are interested. I have been at home recovering from a recent surgery this week, and while my body and brain are not good for much at the moment, I am still excited about my recent exploration of a new craft medium.

Over the school holidays I began working with an acrylic resin compound which makes the most beautiful homewares.

Creativity and art and craft projects (even just the brainstorming) always help to pull me out of difficult times; so while I am still immobile and foggy headed at home, I wanted to share more with you of the fun new projects I came up with over my break. I really hope I get the time to engage further with this when life returns to normal.

That organic oval on a hook has to be my favourite resin shape I think. Its simplicity means that single component is the star of the show!

Sweet little "Spring Picnic" collection for this season's clay release. These colours and those wooden tops are such vibe. I hope the rain does not put a dampener on me enjoying this kind of spring. Some little homewares resin experiments. Learning every time just how unpredictable resin art is- it really does have a mind of its own, which makes it fun and frustrating at the same time!

I love these greens together for homewares, I have a lot of earthy tones around my house so these should go well. I love that touch of creamy shimmer in there too.

Sadly, I don't have much time for clay at the moment. It is something I love and hope to reunite with on a small scale this year. Today was my first attempt in about a year. My technique is a bit rusty and my supplies have dwindled but I am excited to wear these new monochrome babies....I might be open to a couple of custom orders during the next fortnight (school holidays).
