As a woman in a long term same sex relationship, I am committed to equality for all of us. I want us to have the same rights ans our heterosexual fronds and family. I also thing that there is value in civil partnerships. At the end of it all, the paper work is the boring bit – its the declaration you make to each other that holds your love. Its that declaration on which you build your life and raise your family. I rave on a little more about this in this post, but for now…. I have been I’ve been enamoured with ceremony and ritual my whole life. I wanted to be a celebrant when I was in high school. I have led a wide range of ceremonies for all sorts of transitions throughout our life, from birth to death. I am an artist and a yoga teacher. I believe wholeheartedly that your day should be special and it should be yours. I love the story of life, and of love.
