Yesterday was National Diabetes Feet Day – an opportunity for health professionals, researchers, and those living with diabetes-related foot disease to be involved, have their say, and help drive a national conversation to improve the outcomes for those living with diabetes-related foot disease.

There's almost 2m Australians (about 5.5% of the population) living with all types of diabetes, and up to 500k people living with silent, undiagnosed type 2 diabetes. Over 300 people in Australia are diagnosed with diabetes daily.

It is very important to get your feet checked by a podiatrist annually. If anything is of concern have a check up now before it’s too late.
