Happy Monday y’all! What are two things you’re looking forward to this week? 👇🏻

For me, it’s the hope of no rain on Thursday 🤞🏻 and a trip to the countryside this weekend!

I actually had to think quite hard to identify those two really simple things. I’m trying to be intentional about what I’m focusing on as I’m not feeling my usual Monday morning chirpy vibes. With so much happening in the world atm, it’s important to have your own moments of joy no matter how big/small, spend some time picking a couple for yourself this week ahead. ✨

The prettiest road side stop we ever took. Clyde at was so lovely and told us the whole story behind his family’s lavender oil still. Definitely worth a stop off if you’re ever in south west Victoria. 🌸

Currently in the midst of a serious activewear addiction. Now just need to step up the activity to justify the purchases! 😂

Anyone else feeing sluggish since WFH and lockdown? It’s really caught up with me over the last month and clothes are a bit tighter so I’m hoping the activewear purchases really start to inspire me. I’ve been consistent with my walks but definitely missing my yoga studio and the option of visiting gyms! Not much longer to go!

The first day of Spring this year signified a number of changes for me. Of course, it brought the stunning change in season with warmer days and the smell of blossoms in the air. It was the anniversary of my beautiful Grandma's passing last year, a woman who loved flowers and spending time in her garden. It was also a figurative change in season in terms of my work as I accepted a new role as the AU/NZ Market Manager for IIN ().

I'm looking forward to supporting the mission of (to play a crucial role in improving health and happiness and, through that process, create a ripple effect that transforms the world) here in Australia and NZ. IIN is the institution I chose when I completed my own heath coach training back in 2019, so I'm really honoured to be able to join the team and continue to support their growth here in Australia and New Zealand. This new role has been in the works since May, and involved many late night/early morning interviews to tee up timings with the head office in New York. It has also been many years since I had gone through the interview process and I feel like that process alone taught me a lot!

Hope everyone is going well, for me, I’m trying to look at this change of season as a fresh start in all domains of life. Whilst we're still in lockdown, we can use this warmer weather to develop routines and get outdoors which will have such a valuable impact on how we feel each day. Sending lots of love x

A bit late to the party, but I've just recently jumped on the Rice Paper Roll train. So easy to prep and it creates such a fun dinner experience as you all 'attempt' to assemble each roll... (note there are no photos of our finished products here 😂 - perhaps we'll get better the more we do it).

I didn't have a julienne peeler on hand as I was prepping my veggies but my new Chef X knife did just the trick. Super sharp, it glided right through the veggies and for a utility knife, it felt really sturdy.

This new range from is made from top-quality German stainless steel, heat tempered without the crazy price tag - plus its dishwasher safe! WIN!

Thinking I might put a spin on this recipe and pop it up on the website soon, let me know if you'd like the link, I feel like this would be a super fun recipe for kiddies.

Have basically spent the entire weekend playing with my new camera and have felt somewhat limited with shoot locations given the orders. Although, it did inspire me to finally get the new fireplace details on the blog which will go live tomorrow. It will include our process, tips and tricks plus costings. Hopefully a helpful one for anyone wanting to get one installed in future. Have a good week! X

This face though 🥰 I’ve realized Leo doesn’t feature enough on the grid. It’s almost his 6th birthday so I’ll keep the pics coming. His bed was an early birthday present and he LOVES IT! Worth every cent now he’s not sneaking in to sleep on our bed in the evenings.

I’m making a commitment to take more photos now I have a new camera plus a commitment to work on my editing skills. I have used Lightroom for a longtime now but not to its full capabilities. I mainly throw my photos into VSCO for quick edits on my phone but am wanting to start shooting more and want to use Lightroom properly. Any tips tricks from any photographers out there? And don’t say use photoshop too cause that ain’t ever going to happen. Too technical for me!! 😆

: Contemplated putting my makeup on for this photo then thought, stuff it! That would just mean I’d have to take it off and that’s a whole lot of commitment I’m not sure I’m ready for on (what feels like) day 482 of lockdown! 😂
